This was my love and I's first time visiting Goodies to Eat and they did not disappoint. Our hostess greeted us with a smile and politely took our ordered. My honey got the fried chicken and I, the hamburger steak. Everything was cooked to perfection. The place was clean and inviting. We will be returning. I have to try that turtle cheesecake ?.

Very clean dining area. Hostess was very polite & professional. A bit pricey for the food quality. Food wasn't bad or poorly prepared it was just basic. Not using the highest quality ingredients apparently. Judge for yourself. Whoever from this restaurant is on here bashing people for their reviews, it's not a good look for business. That's the purpose of reviews.

Food honestly was basic. The smother chicken was not fried it’s boiled it seems, and drenched in oily packaged gravy. The green beans are canned and could use simple salt and pepper or liquid smoke since no fat for seasoning was included. The potatoes taste out of the pouch and the cornbread was a little burnt and not sweet at all. Portions are generous tho. I hate I had to write this. I might not make a return trip.

I cannot say enough great things about this place!! You walk in and it’s very clean nice and open. The lady at the register was sooooo nice and polite. The food was AMAZING!! Catfish, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, cornbread and sweet tea. I couldn’t finish my plate!! Too full for dessert. This was hands down the best meal I’ve had out in a long time and I do a lot of traveling. Thank you so much for the wonderful meal!

Cakes are not Homemade as Advertised and described. These are Kroger Cake slices. Do better.I did ask. And you were not honest.
