Food was excellent. Off the beaten path which was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the busy main strip. Brisket and chicken were the best.

Stopped by on the way back to our rental, it was amazing. I had the smoked potato with pulled pork, fantastic. Husband had pulled pork sandwich and raved about it. Owner was super friendly, and there was even a friendly cat that kept us company while we ate. Will absolutely return

I’m a BBQ snob and I won’t apologize for it. We were trying to find a great place for smoked meat while vacationing in the Smoky Mountains. We have eaten at a lot of places in the past so we wanted to try somewhere new and Bustin Butts was the top of our list. First off, the people (the owner served us) here are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Second, they stand by their food, so much so that the BBQ sauce is on the side. They want you to taste the meat. They will give you a sample before you decide! Third, the sides are amazing. We tried smoked green beans, smoked mac n cheese, beans, and mashed potatoes. Each one was delicious! We ordered a rack of ribs, a smoked potato with brisket, and a pulled pork sandwich. They have ruined ribs for me…these ribs are unbelievable….the best I have ever had. They don’t need sauce. The smoked potato was fantastic. The pulled pork was also fantastic. I sampled a smoked chicken wing…unreal. Everything we had was unbelievable. Make the trip here…way better than the tourist trap BBQ places!

Found this place on a chance and so glad we did. Not only was the food great the hospitality was amazing. If we didn't live in Maryland we would be back every week.

Easy to drive in and out. Can order like a drive thru. They even had a sit down area. The wait was less than 2 minutes. I ordered, paid, they went in and came right out with your food.

I have to say I was attracted by the name and I came due to the good reviews. The reviews are not wrong. This bbq place is delish! The ribs were fall off the bone, the brisket was so tender, and pulled pork so juicy. Everything was perfectly smokey and the bbq sauce (idk if they make their own) was very very good. The Mac and cole slaw were the perfect side dishes too, very yummy! This place is very easy to order from, like a drive thru. They do take credit cards and their service was super helpful! After a day of hiking, my husband and I killed the whole meal.

Barbecue was so good. Price reasonable. Could eat outside where our furry babies could be w us. Staff was very kind. There was an assortment of fruits & veggies for sale.

Driving through to the Smokeys and stopped for lunch-it was AMAZING! We tried the ribs, pulled pork, and brisket-all fall off the bone and the sauce was delicious. The Mac and cheese, green beans, and rolls were also to die for. The food was served within minutes after ordering, and was an unbeatable price. The owner was so friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. We might have to stop on our way back!

Most friendliest staff around. Great local family business that really goes out of their way to make one feel appreciated. Food was excellent and supporting local to boot.
I just had a late lunch at Busting' Butts. It is definitely a local BBQ and is a bit confusing for a first timer. I parks by the produce and searched for a place for the BBQ. After looking around for a bit, I walked across to a nearby building and asked where to get the BBQ. I was given a couple of options: Place my order with her or bring my car around and order from my car. Once I received the order, there were more options for dining location: I could eat in a "shed" enclosure or umbrella tables or take it home or eat in the car. Now, to the food. I ordered the brisket sandwich with original sauce. Both were delicious. There was absolutely no fat on the brisket. It was perfect. The sauce was amazing. I'm sort of a picky eater, but I made the right choice with both the brisket and the original sauce.

I was in the area for a school event and thought I would try it. It's the proverbial hole in the wall. It's or was a Food truck that they've parked and taken the wheels off. I know what you're thinking, but I e had some great bbq from some crazy places. This place has some excellent reviews, so I had to try. If you know me, then you know I know my bbq. I'm a certified BBQ judge and amateur cook. Regarding bbq, I focus on how well the meat was cooked vs. the rub. Was it tender? Did it have good smoke flavor & overall taste? I ordered a pork sandwich & a brisket sandwich. The pork - came with what appeared to be a mustard sauce; it was sweet with a yellow tinge. Surprisingly, I liked the sauce. The pork was tender, with no bark and no smoke flavor. For me - it was meh. The brisket sandwich- with a darker sweet sauce- wasn't bad but not as good as the other. I bit into the sandwich and immediately noticed how tough it was. I pulled the bun off & got to looking and was somewhat surprised. Brisket has a very distinctive texture & look. I didn't see that. This looked like a pot roast. It tasted & chewed like one as well. So to answer your question- this is not brisket it's Chuck roast being sold as brisket. Overall I was disappointed - never had a bbq joint try and sell me Chuck roast calling it brisket.

Best BBQ in the area hands down. Friendly owners. The meat is soooo tender and juicy. Can't talk enough about the sides. Mac and cheese is to die for. This place gives a home country feeling.

Hands down the best BBQ brisket I ever had. You can drive through or order to eat at their family style picnic tables. The smoker is going constantly churning out brisket, ribs, chicken, and pork. Family 4 packs are very affordable. Best mashed potatoes I ever had and I even liked the Mac n cheese which is something I rarely enjoy. The setting is very nice and usually you can visit the produce stand while you wait or after eating. Not far from plenty of ice cream shops for dessert to follow, though they did have banana pudding on the menu. Very nice people run this place.
