A truly artsy and eclectic decor that makes you feel like visiting local shops. They seem to focus on local and organic options - which I love. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese everything bagel. It was delicious. I would go back 100% for that sandwich. I didn't like the Chai Latte I chose. It didn't have enough spice to the flavor. It seemed a bit overpowered by the milk.
Always wonderful but not always open. If you are making a special trip, check first.
Stirlings is a must on your sewanee list… we’ve been coming for years and always love it! Their lunch is simple refreshing and delicious! Get the chicken salad bowl or Outreach turkey! Great food, coffee, and employees!
We were in the area. We like coffee, so we stopped in. The coffee was good, however the food wasn't. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel which was very bland. It was like a pre-made, cellophane wrapped sandwich that was heated in a microwave. Other food offerings may be good (probably still institutional food, though) but bottom line to me is: go there for the coffee.
Got a good, tasting coffee. Tried, for the first time ever I believe was vinegar thinking was creamer. Turned out, to taste okay though with the normal coffee and creamer.
Funky little place. Beautiful surroundings with nice people. Try their homemade cookies.
Such a gem!!! Wonderful coffee, amazing food, superb atmosphere! Great place to enjoy nature and have a coffee or tea or a delicious meal!..farm to table and there are vegan and veg selections!
Cute it looks like a house
Coffee is excellent and the sandwich was very good. Then there was the pie - crust like grandma's and a generous FRESH berry filling not some mysterious canned goo, not too sweet, tasted like fruit! Incredibly delicious. Worth a drive.
I had breakfast there two weeks ago and lunch today. Truly a great casual place for a meal. Truly a small town gem. Go often and tip lots!
Comfortable spot with seating inside, outside on a deck and on the lawn in front. Lots of good fare to eat and drink.
We came here from out of town, woke up to get a nice breakfast. Ordered an Iced Matcha, it was the worst tasting watered down matcha I’ve ever had. (I am the GM of a coffee/donut place and we make matcha as well) I told the staff that it was watery and I’d like an iced coffee instead. They responded that’s how it’s made and I could buy another coffee. I didn’t want a refund or anything I just wanted a drink that taste good. So I handed them the matcha I took 1 sip out of. No sorry, no refund, no new drink. I will never come back. Absolutely ridiculous. Go somewhere else, seriously. These people obviously don’t know how to handle a dissatisfied guest. Customer service is a 0/5
Good selection of hot and cold drinks. Limited breakfast items, but good lunch menu. Latte and coffee were good. I’d recommend this as your coffee stop if in the area.
Loved the iced coffee and the outside seating!
