Just awful. The cappacino was mud, lukewarm, not made right. Gloomy staff.

I really enjoyed this place. The coffee was great and the atmosphere was just so inviting. I enjoyed my cookie inside and finished my coffee outside on the porch swing. Very peaceful.

Nice little spot for a quick grab. Coffee and a bite to eat. Ordered myself a Bacon Egg & Cheese on a toasted bagel ; pretty good! My wife had the toasted sliced bread with strawberries / honey & avocado. Surprisingly , this was also very good! Also had me an iced coffee, iced coffee wasn’t too good.Gave it 4 stars because of how sloppy they added butter onto my bagel. Guy literally left a chunk of butter , when he could have just spread it on the bread.Overall, I’d come back. ??

My fiancé and I are in the area from Michigan for a concert at the caverns. We needed a minimal fuss but not greasy breakfast spot and this place was exactly that. Menu had a solid selection of fresh and unique items. I went simple and got a breakfast sandwich w/ bacon on a croissant, it was delightful.. My man got the Dimmick Day, the Basil oil leveled it up from just a regular club and was sooo good. Coffee is good too!! Prices are honestly great compared to back home and vibes were on point. 10/10 recommend

Great variety of coffee, teas, juices, and pastries. This local coffee shop is right at the corner of the University of the South. The interior is artsy, quirky, and quaint. There is a large patio for seating and picnic tables in the front yard. Service was mediocre and not overly welcoming. I always love grabbing a Natalie's Orange Juice while nearby.

The most charming cafe! I tried a few things during my weekend trip and they were all amazing! The ingredients are so fresh I'm sure literally everything on the menu is delicious. The coffee was also very good! The staff was so pleasant and I could sit there all day and enjoy the atmosphere if I were a local. Also, bonus points for having a pride flag prominently displayed outside!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options and they are delicious!Parking: Their lot is very tiny and always full.Kid-friendliness: I saw many kids at the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Big ramp!

Cute coffee shop with fun drink options. Their menu looked delicious, but we did not get food. The Black Bear Latte was delicious! Chai latte didn't taste like chai, but flavor was still pretty good. Staff were courteous enough. Atmosphere was very chill with many seating options, and even a dog-friendly patio!

I didn’t realize this place was a student dining service when I got here, so I felt a little self-conscious. But it’s a nice place, the food is good, and there’s a lot of great art on the walls. I had the iced latte and a croissant, and they were both excellent.

The cashier was kind so I want to give him acknowledgement of that with a star, but this place royally sucked. Hair on sandwich was the highlight of the problems and I really don’t want to rake them through the mud but I do hope they revamp or something.

More than a coffee house, Stirling's offers a selection of breakfast items, salads, and sandwiches, along with ice cream in the cooler and fresh baked treats to have for dessert. They have a selection of cold beverages from Izze to aloe water to Yerba Mate. Enjoy your meal inside the converted house, or outside on their back porch, front yard or backyard picnic tables. Being on a college campus, the vibe is friendly, welcoming, and super casual. Even if you're not already on campus, it's worth a visit - especially if you prefer vegan food. I'm not used to having multiple options, but here vegans / plant-based eaters can choose breakfast sandwiches with vegan sausage and vegan cream cheese; vegan Mediterranean chickpea salad or sandwich, vegan chicken salad or sandwich, and more. I'm not used to being overwhelmed with vegan possibilities in rural Tennessee, but wow how refreshing! I opted for the generous vegan "chicken" salad sandwich (soy based) which came served on a fresh, crusty but soft baguette with some butter lettuce on the sandwich. So good and satisfying to get me through a hike around the domain. Yes, it's a college place. But if you happen to be driving through the area on interstate 24, it's worth the few extra miles to seek it out. And if you're a Sewanee parent, like I am, it's a nice alternative to fast food in Monteagle when you're dropping off or visiting your kid. Give your student a few extra $ to pop by here on the way to class for a coffee. I hear it's really good here too!

Had a everything bagel w cucumber, dill cream cheese spread...fabulous! Not very friendly staff or customers for that matter. But the cafe is absolutely enchanting. It's an old big beautiful house. Outside seating which was fabulous on the day we went coz a pretty spring-like day.

The vegan breakfast club left a lot to be desired. A normal sized bagel with a small breakfast sausage. They could’ve at least added 2 and added some avocado to it or something. Then it would be worth the ridiculous price.I liked the atmosphere and the vegan cookie was good. Coffee was decent.
