My family owned a bakery serving donuts for 2 generations so I know what a 2 day old apple fritter taste like. And I got 2 today from Jack n JIll. Sure, it's a Sunday. So close the store or put up a sign saying "Everything on Sunday is Old and Crappy." I was driving to Austin or I would have gone back and got my $3 back. Threw them away 60 miles later when i stopped for more coffee.

Great donuts, but overcharged me by triple my order amount because they added my order total probably with the person behind me. They did not ask if I wanted a receipt and almost did not give back my card. Fast service usually, but questionable payment methods.

Great donuts, but I was charged for my order and the order behind me which was like $17 and and mine was just like $5 so they basically charged me $22 for a kolache and some donut holes, and I didn't get a receipt. Still great donuts, but I didn't appreciate being charged that much.

Nice large doughnuts and prompt service. I really like their cinnamon rolls and chocolate eclairs.
In all fairness I haven't actually eaten a donut but I did walk in then left when I didn't see anything delish enough looking. The drive through option is nice. There were a lot of premade bfast croissants and burritos if you like that kind of thing.

Ask for a receipt as they tell you one amount and charge you more on purpose and don't ask if you would like a receipt. . I will take my donut loving business elsewhere where honesty still matters. God Bless America, Texas and you.
