I would say authentic Mexican food. Don't care for corn tortillas in general but I eat them here. Corn Street taco all day. Enchiladas are rolled don't let that deceive you. Very filling and delicious. Add on top the cream sauce & green salsa.It is loud which for my wife & I it's a bit much. But the food & service is so good and friendly. The place is clean we always go back.

We were stopping for the night in Amarillo and wanted some Mexican food. El Manantial was rated pretty high so we decided to try it.I sure am glad we did!The food was excellent, service was great, and it was very inexpensive. The house margarita was ok, but not great. Might try a different one next time.We will go back when traveling through Amarillo again

It was pretty good, I had an asada torta and tacos. Tried the menudo as well, along with a michelada. Id recommend it all.
The salsa is delicious. I wish they gave more. The beans topped with pico brought out with salsa was a first for us, but they were delicious. Carne asada is excellent, tortillas wonderful, sweet tea is great. Everyone else had the Berrian tacos and said they were delicious as well. Definitely worth the stop and we will go back next time we are in amarillo. My husband also bought their michelada mix and loves it.
