“Wow. As a New Jersian living in Texas, walking into this restaurant was an instant sense of home. The aroma alone is inviting enough, but the food knocked it put of the park.

Our hostess and waitress were also incredibly friendly and helpful.

We cannot wait to come back!

“Came in on 5/25 around 7pm and fell in love with the staff that night. Everyone was soooo nice and helpful!!! They interact with the customers and give amazing suggestions. At least three employees came to our table to make sure that our order was to our satisfaction (and I noticed they did the same with the other clients). I live closer to the double Dave on Westheimer but I will make the drive to this location because of everyone that was on staff tonight. I was really impressed that I felt I needed to write a review. “I have mixed feelings about it recent visit. We've been a fan of Italiano's in Humble for 20 years ago decided to drive the 30 minutes to the Pearland location. It just was a little less than expected. Food wise, my Caesar salad had very little taste but my ravioli dish made up for it. As someone else stated, the marinara sauce is very sweet. Service, while adequate wasn't stellar. They seemed a little short handed. We'll give it another shot just based on the strength of the other locations.“

The manager [Tori] was gracious, caring, and corrected an error in our order [probably our fault] with no fuss. At Tori's suggestion, we ordered for the road a Ninja plus cheesecake. “We ordered the Space Swamp, the Astro Dog with parmesan garlic butter fries, and the Texas BBQ Burger with mixed fries. The burger was insanely good, probably the best I’d ever had! It had an awesome char, tasty pretzel bun, and delicious bread ‘n butter pickles. We got lucky to drop in on a live music night, too! “Went on yesterday and everything was so amazing! It had been almost 10 years since my last visit. So glad I gave them another try. The ambiance is romantic and dimly lit. The smell of the brick oven was everything. The food is farm to table and fresh and tasty. The rosemary bread is freshly baked and soooooo good. Can’t wait to go back. Definitely a hidden gem.

“Being originally from the Chicagoland area some 32 years ago, to see a Chicago style pizzeria in Houston had me seriously needing to verify if they are the real deal. Short answer ..... ABSOLUTELY YES! I didn't go to try the deep dish as those of us from up north actually grew up on hand tossed thin crust with real Italian seasoned sausage and cheese and i was pleased that they were as authentic as i had as a child. Staff was friendly and helpful and a joy to chat with. I will be back to sample other dishes from the extensive menu, but i can now get my pizza fix from one of the handful of locations in Houston. I've been to 2 locations and I'll stand by both for flavor. Go and enjoy.“

“Due to the bad weather, the park where we planned our family reunion and sons birthday party closed because of flooding. I spoke with Andy and Shafa at La Cocina de Sam, who has wonderful food to assist with preparing food for 20+ people. We ordered pizza's, wings, and chicken tenders (excellent prices and great food). I also ordered a burrito bowl which my niece said it was better than Chipotle. All of the food was a great hit, especially the Mango Habanero wings. Food went so fast, I didn't have time to take pictures. Thank you to the friendly and wonderful staff for making son's party a success.“

I haven’t they promptly remade my order and comped it… had it at my door in 25mins… the Delivery guy was super kinda and very personable… thank you for making up for the let down… we will order again!“

“First time since a child visiting the infamous Chuck E Cheese, today we were celebrating birthday for my 6 year old son. Awesome time for both sons especially my 3 year old. All staff were friendly and nice and would like to give a special shout out to Christian with the glasses, mostly working front desk. “First time ordering from this location since moved to this area, so far extremely satisfied!! The one up northwest where we used to live was really going downhill so haven’t ordered from papas in ages. But it has usually been my fav chain pizza, mostly because I love their crust on the pizza, good toppings and yummy garlic sauce. I felt like this location ahead stayed true to how they used to make it, and ingredients are pretty decent quality!! Our usual go to is some combo of Italian/spicy sausage, mushrooms, and pineapple. Still has good deals. Place is a little small, but just carried out the pizza like I always did. Inside seems clean and mostly operating efficiently. Will definitely order from here again!!“

“When it was Gatti's pizza is was good its now inked tacos and hot chicken and they ate gud. I like the brisket tacos and that chicken finger sandwich with coleslaw. Man that is so gud. Wait yall for to try their lime margaritas oh my God talk about flavor baby baby baby. It's my fav margarita now.
