Don Mario's Mexican Cuisine

One of our favorite places. Great Queso, tacos and fajitas, Plus they will absolutely do whatever you ask to make the food exactly the way you want it.

We really like Don Mario's. They've become our go to for full service Mexican food. Excellent fajitas, large portions too. The combo plates are really good and there are 5 separate sauce options. Love the tortilla soup too. Salsa is first rate. From the owner on down, everyone here is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very clean as well.

Super chill local Mexican joint. The staff is fun, friendly, and they hustle! Food is persistent, good, and what you’d expect. Margs are strong and priced competitively.

I wish I had taken pictures. I had very low expectations because the customers look unseasoned and I am a beautifully seasoned. The service was great, I also wish to had gotten our servers name. My plate (Don Mario’s Enchiladas special) was delicious. I am picky when it comes to Mexican or TexMex because of the lack of flavor. The salsa had a very mild kick with great taste, food came out hot, and our drinks were tasty and strong, just like me.

Eh? The ambiance in this place is not great- fluorescent overhead lights- it literally looks like a retail Store that someone is cooking in. The food is ok- I ordered fajitas. the menu said $18 for chicken fajitas , they were decent but it was a pretty small portion- looked like a lunch size. Then when the check came they tried charging me $22. They did fix it- but that’s an insane amount of money for mediocre fajitas in a strip mall, I would have been better off going to papasitos for that price.

I had the Fiesta Salad. Black beans, pico de gallo, and ranch sound like an odd trio but when joined with the rest of the salad, it was delectable. The lettuce was crisp and leafy with no thick pieces or hearts. All this combined with the hot grilled chicken made for an enjoyable meal. They normally serve this with “avocado ranch” but avocados and I find each other offensive. So, I had plain ranch. I’ll be having this again next time I’m there!

Server was perfect. Didn't bother me too much, but was attentive and let me enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. She recommended the flan instead of the cobbler; it was great and didn't need the whipped cream. Camaron Diablo was good; not the best I've had, but tasty. I recommend the El Jefe margarita.

BE WARNED! Any prices you see online are old. If you are ordering based on some menu you see online expect prices to have raised by $3-$5. Last visited this place a few years back. Food was good then but there was service issue. That's all I'll say since I believe they're under new mgmnt. I've had a chips and salsa craving for the last few days and was in the area and decided to get it from here. I called in the order first based on an online menu. Chips salsa and queso A+!!! but was $5 more than what was posted online. Don Mario Special Burrito B+ but was $3 more expensive than online. I'll def return. Food hit the spot.

great food. Fast and great service!

Food was awesome and came out fast even though they were kind of busy. The chips and salsa are great!! Our waiter was very friendly I just wish our drinks would’ve got refilled. Definitely would come back again

We live close so we have been here about 8-10 times in the last few months. We discovered this place only about 6 months ago. First couple of times I loved it. I almost always get the carne asada and it seems that depending on which cook is working that day you will get the 10/10 or the 6/10. It has never been bad or terrible but a couple of times it was not great. This past weekend the guacamole was bad. Real bad. But I told the server and he got me a new one that was great. So far all servers have been real nice to us. The men seem more distracted when it comes to getting refills and so. The young lady that serves us frequently is sweet and kind. Once we tried the cheesecake and LOVED it but every time we asked again, they don’t have it. One think we like is that we never have waited more than 5-10 minutes to get seated.

Don Mario’s never disappoints. The fajita trio is one of the best ever. Have eaten here many times and is always consistent. Located in shopping center next to Tom Thumbs grocery. The side order of guacamole was fantastic. Great prices also and friendly staff.

Found this little gem out browsing the neighborhood. I have to say, the service was quick and very nice, the food was absolutely delicious-from the chips and salsa, to enchiladas, to the beans and rice! Will definitely be eating here again!

Love this place! The chips & salsa are the best and the service is always amazing! Especially right now when everyone is short handed, you would never know that at Don Mario's. The wait staff is attentive and top notch! I come here every chance I get!!
