My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was about 9am and we got there just as someone was leaving so we were able to get a table quickly. There were maybe 6 tables and some bar space. The food was prepared quickly, the service was kind and helpful (but busy),and the food tastes great! Nice food but help home cooked. Delicious, we'll be back and it's definitely a good place to eat I'd you're visiting.
Whenever I want breakfast food or brunch, this is the first place that pops into mind. Counter Cafe is a little restaurant that serves most customers at a long old-school diner counter, with the food being prepped right before your eyes. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and I never had to wait to have my coffee refilled. With regards to the breakfast foods; it's arguably the best in Austin. Yeah...I said it. cafe food and the feeling at this spot is very good. This location is absolutely outstanding. Quick and friendly service. This place has a great feel to it. Feeling here is similar to a cafe in San Jose I liked.
