Although I live on the other side of the lake, I love to occasionally hop over to Kelly's.

It's genuinely the coziest pub in Austin, and trust me, I know cozy. I get quite easily overstimulated with things like bright white lights and blaring music but Kelly's has the perfect amount of light for a great ambiance and a great noise level.

You don't need to yell over people to hear yourself but it's also just bustling enough that it creates a very welcoming environment. I've been going to catch some of the football games recently and even when I am alone, I run into some of the nicest folks.

My favorite thing, however, is the books in each little bar nook. As a reader myself, it's so nice to have a book to grab while waiting for friends, a date, or if you just want to be left alone, haha!

Lastly, yes, the food is wonderful, just eat it.

The vibe of Kelly's is something that cannot be easily replicated and I'm so glad it's here.

The BEST fish and chips in Austin! Awesome little pub with a fairly spacious back porch. Was a little busy when we got there around 8, but not so much we couldn’t find a seat.
We’ll be having the Shepherds Pie next time ‘round. Sláinte!

I moved here from New York City 16 years ago, and that's exactly how long it's been since I had a proper Irish breakfast. Man, finding it on your menu and then getting it and having it be that extraordinarily well done was really a pleasure. The shepherd's pie can easily be called Gourmet shepherd's pie excellent pores on the whiskey doubles as well, and all of the staff is constantly making sure you're good. This place is fantastic

Awesome service, great patio and an awesome place to grab a pint and watch some sports, especially if you’re a big soccer or rugby fan. Ashley, Liam and Rory are the best definitely will be coming back time and time again.

Amazing all around but you NEED the buffalo wings! Also, BEST pour of a Guinness in atx. Service is outstanding, vibes are welcoming. Promise you’ll feel like you’re home, whether you’re from Ireland or not.

I recently visited Kelly's Irish pub in Austin, and their shepherd's pie was outstanding—perfectly seasoned and topped with creamy mashed potatoes. The food was flavorful, portions generous, and the staff friendly. Highly recommended! ☘️??

Kelly's Pub is a great home away from home pub. Jimmy and Brenda create a great atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and helpful. It is the most authentic Irish pub in Austin or even Texas for that matter!!! Food and drinks are great as well as the Craic!! It's not just a pub, it's a community!!!

It says Irish pub on the sign and it means it. Shepherd's pie, fish and chips, bangers and mash: they are all there. Our waiters accent was so thick I almost couldn't understand him, it was awesome. The draft beers are perfectly themed with a great Guinness pour. If you're looking for an authentic Irish Kelly's is your place. Also as a bonus, we have 3 appetizers, 5 entrees and 5 beers and only spent $150
