Omg soooo good !!! This is a must go to every time I’m in Vegas !!!! Lines can get kinda long so try not to wait until the weekend to visit. But service is quick and food is worth it.

Confusing ordering system guy at counter didn't listen to what I wanted and made the order incorrectly so ended up paying twice what I needed to. Food was very nice though and free refills

Lots about this place and most is true. its authentic Spanish and the signage could use more gringo, but you figure it out. You stand in line under type of food, get served and then go to next times window you want to add to your tray. it's all great and reasonable. only wish i had tried more but from now on, every trip to Vegas will include this stop.

I have heard good things about Tacos El Gordo for quite awhile, and the hype is spot on and we’ll worth it. We had the pork and steak tacos, and they were the best tacos I have had anywhere. It is completely chaotic, especially for a first time visitor, but the experience and the food makes this a place that will be on my list of places to go for any trip in the future. The fact it is now right across the street from Resorts World makes it more likely for me to be in the area for a visit.

This place has the best tacos ( asada and adobada) that I have ever eaten, and I’m from West Texas. A real hidden gem in Las Vegas!!

Numerous people said you must try this Mexican taco place. We did! We will go back too! We waited 20 minutes outside, just to wait another 30 minutes inside before placing our order. It was hectic, disorganized chaos... but we made it to the front to order carne asada tacos and quesadillas. The tacos were delightful! This was one of the cheapest meals we ate in our week long visit to Vegas BUT one of the best. Go, for the show.

Went to Tacos El Gordo for the first time this past week and it was great. Plan on waiting in line for a while but it is worth the wait..

Tacos were pretty good, not the best we have had. Line was really long and it doesn’t move very fast. Would return if line was short but they aren’t good enough to wait in a long line again for.

Probably the best tacos I have ever had, great quality and experience, they grill and cut up the meats in front of you as you order, great atmosphere, will certainly visit again.

We walked in to a packed business. Lines were zigzag and although an employee tried to keep them in order. It was almost nearly impossible. They have various types of meats and I’m not sure if it’s only on weekends and/or busy times but you have to form multiple lines to get what you want. So if it is just you. You literally have to form separate lines and by then. Your food will definitely be cold. Totally weird but maybe they have a reason as to why but being alone. Will not allow you to get all the items you want. We waited about two hours. Prices for the size. We’re definitely not worth it. What they call a sope, gordita and quesadilla. Is definitely not what I have seen in Texas and Mexico. There is basically a flat tortilla, add cheese to melt. Then add the meat and that’s a quesadilla. Same with a gordita. They just added a hard shell tortilla to the top. What I witnessed as well as many other patrons. People walking in and getting in front of everyone that had been waiting in the long lines. Place money on the counters where they place peoples orders and we’re able to order all the food they wanted. Without having to stand in multiple lines and wait like everyone else. Some patrons brought it to their attention but staff just ignored or laughed. Definitely not going back. This is so disrespectful to everyone standing in line. Everyone’s time is valuable and cutting everyone off because someone gives you a tip. Is definitely not the way. Especially when the food was not the best.

We ent there as it was across the road from resorts world. Very busy and popular place. You line up in a section depending on what meat or internal organs you want in your tacos. Food was amazing and well priced. Very down to earth place.

Found this place on here looking for lunch recommendations. Did not disappoint. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but then I saw the guy in front of me get his order and I said- I want what he is having lol. It was a sope with trompo fully dressed. I ordered two, i would of been fine with one! Can’t wait to go back.

Authentic Mexican street food is made-to-order while you’re at the counter! Which means that your food is freshly cooked, but the waiting time can be quite long during busy periods. It’s not expensive, though, so it’s very much worth the wait - and the fact that the place is full of Mexicans speaks volumes. Check it out, you shouldn’t be disappointed

We visited the one on the Strip since we were staying across the street at Resorts World. We have been coming to this place for years, and they had moved to a larger location very close to the old location. The Tacos are still AMAZING! The prices have increased, but then everywhere else also has. We love watching them slice the meat off the Spit, and they work super fast. Make sure you get into the right line when you enter, it can be a little confusing at first.
