How is it that you dont have a phone number? How do people know if you are open or have something available when consumwrs cant speak to no one? Google is not always reliable.

This review is for the food truck at Picnic Park near Barton Springs. Loved the food here. I had the crawfish po-boy. The bread is delicious and the crawfish are lightly fried so you can still taste the crawfish. The shrimp etouffee was delicious too! What a nice find.

I couldn’t find the restaurant so walked down to king beeBy luck found the food truck with the same name sakeFood was amazing!!! It’s gonna be hard to keep me from coming back daily for the crawfish etouffee ?The bread for the po boy was just like New OrleansSome of these reviews say the food is overpriced and it really isn’t. Considering how phenomenal my meal was, I’d pay more for it

I cannot find a separate posting for the food truck at King bee but it’s the same owners and name The most overpriced meal I’ve had in Austin probably ever $25 for one meal from a food truck … I don’t mind paying that much if it’s a decent amount of food but that was not at all the case and the quality of the food was certainly not something to write home about.

Way over priced for the portions, a meal for two basically cost 60.00+. The beignets didn't even have sugar on them

Best benigts I've ever had! I liked them better than new orelands cafe dumont. And the rice and beans is phenomenal! I highly recommend!

Staff is super friendly! Unfortunately they gave my sandwich away but made a replacement really quickly! The shrimp was crispy and the bread was tasty. My boyfriend got a po boy with half shrimp and half fish. I enjoyed my sandwich and 6 inches was really filling. My favourite part was the beignets!I would recommend coming here!

I hear great things and finally got a chance to try their food and I was disappointed to say the least. The shrimp boy had the tiniest shrimp, good flavor but why? Make an effort with good size shrimp. And the gumbo, I was shocked how average it was. First if was full of rice, too much rice, quite frankly. The roux was weak and probably canned. There was good flavor but way too much rice for $11. I understand there are supply issues but this was a terrible effort to produce true Cajun food. I think I will wait a few months and try again. Finding really solid Cajun fare in Austin is difficult at best.

I recently purchased a Po’Boy from here and was glad I did. I work across the street at RecoveryATX and have seen this place for a while. While leaving work I decided to support a small business and get something. The sandwich I got was very good and fresh. It took about five minutes to prepare my food but it was worth it. The bread was warm and soft and the shrimp was hot and crunchy. If you are wanting some great food this is a great place to start. Located in the heart of East Austin located across the street from their original place. I look forward to my next menu choice. Hope this helps and happy eating!

Excellent gumbo! This is a gumbo that we you crave and think about the next time you can come back while you're eating it.
