The past times that we have visited the restaurant has been phenomenal. However, this last time it was not. The table we choose had ants or some type of bug crawling around. My fiance found us another table that ssemed free of pests. The food was not sufficient for the amount of money charged. $50 bucks for a whole chicken and 6 chicken wings, and a glass of wine. This review was prompted by my wife, who has been ordering Tio Pepe for the the past year or so. She mentioned it a lot, and when I managed to come back home to Austin, TX, she said, "Hey, I am going to order some Tio Pepe Chicken, it is fantastic." Loving my wife and knowing she knows best, I said, "Ok, sounds great." Little did I know my wife had found a treasure in Austin, TX. Absolutely phenomenal chicken. Juicy and flavorful even before you add the addictive peri peri sauce. The sides are also delicious, the rice with corn and the mashed potatoes round out the meal
