Enjoyed a lovely brunch with family at Kate's. The a/c was struggling but the staff was friendly and helpful. My bet is that they were just as warm as their guests, if not more so! There are just a couple of tables and plenty of barstools, even a couch to enjoy a coffee, tea, or a scratch made treat. Giant muffins were on display, but I am trying the fruit and nut filled oatmeal next. My giant yogurt dish was feeling bottomless, but I enjoyed it covered in blueberries and granola, I recommend that. Sister's french toast was shared, yep! Recommend that with buttered pecans and fruit as well. There are salads and wraps for lunch, the online menus are lagging with changes but that is in step to update but all offerings seem well made. There was a relaxed vibe, we read the local paper and were never rushed despite the continual flow of customers already in the know about this gem just off the square. Don't worry, they are open 6 days a week and happy to serve you with a smile. See you there!
Parking: It's a unique parking situation here but there is plenty of room in the area.
Wheelchair accessibility: The Cafe has wide open floor space, servers would assist in any way possible, and the exterior ramps and access are clean and manageable.

Shop is in an aged building but has an old charm to it. The coffee was great and the “big” breakfast sandwich was great. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good cup of coffee and something to eat.

Quaint spot. Very helpful and pleasant service. I ordered a bacon-egg-cheese-spinach bowl and it was incredibly filling & yummy! The "J" is a caramel iced coffee that blew my mind & much better than any iced coffee I've had any other place! I hung around to get work done so I later had their fruitea mixer -strawberry guava and again incredible tasting drink! Very pleased. Grateful (although we were only meeting up to work)...we chose this place over starbucks! It's a must-try!
