I came in and ordered my food and me not paying attention I ordered the wrong plate and when my food came to my table I saw it was the green enchiladas and the waitress asked me if I wanted it exchanged and I honestly did but I didn’t want them throwing food away so I told her that I would eat it and a minute later the manager Cindy came to my table and asked me again and again I explained to her that I hate throwing the which is what they have to do so I kept my plate and she was kind enough to get me 1chalupa which is what I wanted with my enchiladas (red) so thanks to Cindy and Serina and especially the waitress for caring enough to let her manager know and taking the time to fix a mistake I did thanks for caring

El Pato is my go to spot whenever I am craving carne guisada. In my opinion the carne guisada and their breakfast tacos are always good. Today was no different. I was really hungry and decided to stop by to get a carne guisada plate and 2 breakfast tacos. As usual the food was delicious. The staff and service were also great.

The WORST experience ever in a drive-thru! Waited 30 minutes & when I got to the window, the guy says "what did you order?" Come on! Then they asked me to park in front...another 15 minutes and then they forgot my coffee! So disorganized. Food was good, but very little servings. NEVER GOING to this place again, and I urge you all not to pass the horrible experience i passed!

Went thru the drive thru last night & waited more than 30 minutes. When I got to the window, the guy says, "what did you order?" Come on! Then they told me to wait near the door...another 15 minutes. Then they didn't give me my coffee! The food was good but servings were like for a toddler! Please save yourself an unpleasant situation and suggest you don't go there!

Horrible experience at this location. The food was cold and chips on nachos were soggy while the cheese was cold not melted. It took them 38min to get what was the most sorry and disgusting looking crane gisada nachos I have ever seen . I couldn't even find the courage to taste the food , I just asked for a refund.

Horribly disappointed in the Brownsville TX location. The chicken in the Pato Salad was cold, the pinto beans were cold and flavorless like a can of beans were opened and spooned into the shell, the flour tortilla shell was stale. The rice on the Flauta plate was refrigerator cold, guacamole was watery (explanation from waitress was the tomatoes were watery).The restaurant was not busy.

Went through drive order lane and ordered two Friday specials. Two patos plate with rice and beans. No one in front or behind. Got my order and went home. When I arrived I had completely different order. Fajita plate and chicharron plate. I didn’t feel like driving back for the correct order. The traffic has heavy so decided just to deal with it. Both meals were horrible. Fajitas were not well cooked and the chicharron plate was awful. How can they mess up an order so bad. Never again.
Ordered the fajita plate , and lunch taco plate and what a huge disappointment after waiting 20min i got the order and it didn't look very satisfying! Plates don't even look close to pictures on there menu. I received breakfast potatoes instead of rice on my plates, beans where cold and dry , fajita was hard and cold as well. I don't recommend this plates.paid $24 and not worth it! I felt cheated Ridiculous and nasty lunch plates a threw them away not eating it!

Never in my life have I had the worst service with El Pato until today!! Besides waiting for 30 mins in drive thru. I had to get off and get my food. Everything was already in bags and when I asked for my order th young lady who had attitude said ohh we still packing ur food we almost done all she did was put the utensils in the bag and gave me my food and she gave me empty cups and she I had to get my own drinks. I ordered throw drive thru aren't drinks suppose to be given in cup already or do all customers that order thru drive thru have to get off and get their own drinks. When I asked for a cup holder they said they didn't have any and for me to go to stripes and ask if they had any I'd I really wanted i one !! I had ordered a big order for my office. I asked the manager if she could give me the money back in the drinks and she stated she couldn't do that cuz we ordered online. Am very disappointed in today services. I have always been a loyal customer but because of this that's about to change. And my food was sooooo cold.

I ordered chicken fajitas online. After completion, the online service stated the order would be ready at 6. I got to the restaurant and they stated they were out of guacamole, which I had ordered and was also included with the meal I ordered. The Mgr stated he would refund me for that item. At 6:15 they asked me to pull to the front of the restaurant. I received the food at 6:25. Once I got home I found out they gave me the wrong meat. They didn't seem to busy as the counter help was just standing around. The food was good tasting, just not what I expected.
