I love this place as my LOCAL venue for sushi, Asian food, and cocktails/sake. They have a great variety of rolls with tons of flavors mixed in in different ways. The nigiri is very fresh, and they have a multitude of options. The kitchen food is pretty good, not their best feature, but it will shut the mouths of those that don’t want sushi. They also have some pretty wild options for appetizers. The drinks are good, and the selection is pretty huge. Service is always professional, and one time it was exceptional. Please bring a few $’s for the sushi line as well.

Prices are high. Not even hiding that. Actually, if you walk away from under $100 after a good meal and drinks, you are doing great. The rolls are huge, but you definitely want more variety when you see the menu. Drinks are delicious l, but small. So, when you get to ordering a small appetizer, a couple rolls, obviously a couple sashimi, a couple drinks, sake for the main course, and anything else that I am missing, it will easily come out to about $70ish. Service is always worth it there, so add in a 25% tip, you’re right there at $100. However, this isn’t a complaint. With the way the economy is, and how crazy inflation is going, this is usual. BUT! Sushi Axiom actually has a good product to back it up. Just be sure that you aren’t thinking of a cheap dinner.

In sum: the people are top notch, the food is way above par, the prices are what they are, the drinks are better than expected, and the sushi is fresh and offers a great variety.

I eat here when I have expendable money.

The food here was amazing like usual!!! Seriously, like nothing wrong with the food at all. Our server though, she seemed to have better days. We were treated so poorly - that in all of my years of working in the food service industry myself, I would have been fired on the spot if I spoke to customers this way. From the beginning she had an attitude with us. We are spicy mayo lovers so we asked for extra sides of it and that seemed to just ruin her day. Then, our table had no silverware on it just chopsticks. Not an issue at all, a simple fix and an ask. We were a party of 7 and she brought back at least 13 forks and made rude marks saying “Is this enough!?” We continued on with our dinner and tried not to bother her or have to call her over as she did seem like she was just “done”. Once we were finished and needed the checks, she proceeded to only bring one total bill for multiple different families. Not an issue again at all, we just needed them split up and we were all sitting next to the person who we were paying with. So splitting up the check seemed fairly easy for who had what, and who was paying for it. Instead of offering to adjust the check, and I quote, she said “Can y’all just figure it out amongst yourselves?” And looked at us like we were stupid. No, we cannot figure it out amongst ourselves because we all live in three separate cities and do not all have Venmo, cash app, or Zelle. She told us she couldn’t even split up the check if she wanted to which definitely confused us because we have done so before at this restaurant. After seeing our shock, she proceeded to split it up for us, but got it all wrong and did not care to change it again. Again, we were not mad at this point because the food service industry is HARD and people can be BRUTAL, so we understand and had patience. She dropped off wrong checks, leaving us to pay for each others food and things we did not have. No goodbye have a great night, she couldn’t wait to leave. Our party came in at 8 and was finished around 9 when they closed but it took an extra twenty minutes to get the checks sorted and we felt bad as we knew they were closing and the workers were waiting to go home.

We LOVE sushi axiom! We are regular customers of the west 7th location. But, since we have recently moved closer to the Burleson area we figured we would go try out that location. It’s safe to say we will stick with the Fort Worth side of town instead of Burleson. The food is phenomenal at both locations (get the vegetable fried rice you won’t regret it), and this was just the first server we’ve encountered that just gave us a horrible experience. We never got her name, she was just an older white woman with dark hair. We even told her we were going to leave her a nice tip because we felt bad about having her get us all a side of spicy mayo!

Great food, inexcusable service.

Every time my family and I go we always have the best service! They are making some improvement and it goes to show. The food is amazing and their new martini is perfect! Definitely ask for a Sandia-tini! Its watermelon flavored with a green sugar rim. The rolls are always on point and the fried rice is always a must.

Not gonna lie I’ve eaten here plenty of times. Foods always good, service is usually hit or miss. Atmosphere is chill. BUT why on earth is this restaurant open WITH ROACHES CRAWLING AROUND. That’s actually feral and underly disgusting. Now I’m afraid to come back because only god knows if they have roaches on the food. I heard a funky noise and looked up there they were a handful of roaches crawling on the what looked to be pipes or something! This isn’t the first I’ve encountered them here either. Went here for my birthday last year and one literally crawled under the table me and my friends were at but didn’t think much of it. This needs to be contained and dealt with. The fact that I've seen multiple cockroaches from different encounters says enough for me. Get it together, I truly don’t mind calling the Health and Food Department. Because again that’s actually foul to have bugs crawling around while still serving food!!
