Damn good! Super affordable. I expected to pay a lot more for how good it is

Mac and cheese was awful. It was like watery noodles. For what we paid, food was just OK, nothing like the reviews we read from your site.

Very friendly staff. Made our tacos with great care. Even gave us jalapeños for the tacos. They have a place where you can play disc frisbee, shoot dirts and play pool. Good place to bring your family for lunch.

This was by far the worst barbecue I've ever had in my life...RUN

I really had high hopes for this place but unfortunately it was a no for my husband and I. The brisket was extremely dry, my husband didn't even finish the pork ribs, the bbq beans are really just pinto beans with no flavor. We ordered the three meat plate with two sides. I'll stick to warehouse bbq.

This looks like to be a one man operation with the pit master/owner running the show. He was very personable and friendly. The place was clean and orderly. They even had a pool table. I don't much about how BBQ is prepared, but I've consumed a lot of it. The beef brisket was moist and freshly made. It does have a heavy smoked flavor with bitter notes. The ribs were fall off the bone variety, but I prefer my ribs to pass the single bite test. The bite mark visible on the rib without tearing off additional meat. The sausage was ok. The sauce is house made and has a nice tangy sweetness with a good consistency. The beans get a 7 of 10...another couple of hours cook time and they would score higher based on the flavor. The house made potato salad was a fine offering as well.

Birds has tasty food, great portions and a good price. This is our second time visiting this bbq joint. The owner is super nice and attentive. We will be back for sure during our next trip from ATX.

Dry brisket, cold beans, flavorless greasy sausageand cold peach cobbler. I usually give places a second try but I don't think I can with this place. I believe everything was day old or more.

Best Bbq in Burnet. Everything he has, good flavor.

My husband stopped by here on his bike ride from out of town and picked up so much brisket and chicken to bring home by surprise. I never eat brisket and do not have a taste for it...but this was so good and the sauce is nearly matchless compared to others. The chicken was dry and did not care for at all, but the brisket and sauce outweighed it all that I could careless. Will definitely return.

The brisket was melt-in-your mouth tender and tasty, as were the sides we tried - coleslaw and beans. Atmosphere is simple and it's a mom & pop operation through and through. Definitely worth a stop!

I’m not sure if maybe I caught them on an “off day” but there was nothing good about my meal. I got the ribs and brisket with bbq beans and coleslaw. I sincerely wish I could find a single positive thing to say about any part of the meal but I cannot. The beans were flavorless and the peach cobbler was microwaved for about 5 minutes too long because it burned the h out of my mouth. Really bummed, threw most of it in the garbage.

Disappointed in the quality of BBQ being served. The sliced brisket was grey and dry and lacked the flavorful bark I love to see on my brisket. Even before I tasted it, I knew it would leave more to be desired. Beans were alright, and mac and cheese was bland. If you're a BBQ aficionado, this place will not meet your standards.

Don’t let the modest exterior fool you—this is THE place for some seriously good bar-be-que! My husband and I have high standards when it come to bar-be-que and Bird’s exceeded our expectations. It’s also very well priced—a win-win in our book!

The BEST BBQ in Burnet! This humble location is a diamond in the rough. The BBQ Brisket is not too salty and perfectly smoked. The owner's friendly service and passion for BBQ makes this a "hidden gem" in the hill country.
