Best Brisket we’ve had. Coleslaw is also one of our favorites.

Fantastic BBQ. Get there early to savor all the deliciousness.

So happy we found this gem! Been twice in the short span of about three weeks. Full disclosure: i'm not a BBQ expert, but I like good food. The brisket here is very good. I've had both lean and moist, and generally prefer.lean, but their moist was also good. The pulled pork is also good. Not as smoky as the brisket, but still has good flavor. The beans have a nice smoky, slightly spicy flavor. The green Chile Mac and cheese is legit, with a good balance of cheese and brightness. Husband and wife team are very nice and conversational while you wait.

Great smoked ham! I need smoked ham for an office Christmas party for 30. Archer did a great job smoking it and everyone loved it. Even my kids who don't really like ham liked it as leftovers.

Preface: I prefer fatty brisket and a coarse ground sausage with some spice. This is a trailer beside a convenience store with a small pit. Not mass-made. No frills. I ordered fatty brisket and sausage. Their sausage is a jalapeño jack sausage. The brisket: 3 stars. Overly salty rub, slightly overcooked to the point that the meat was starting to get stringy on the flat and was separating along the fat lines where it had rendered. That also gave it a greasy vs a fatty feel. Very thick slices - thinner slices probably wouldn't hold up because of how it's cooked. To be fair: this was the week of a cold snap so I have no idea how the temperature change affected his pits. The sausage: 4 stars. Great flavor and the jack cheese was intact and gooey but not overpowering. A medium to medium-fine grind but cooked perfectly. I asked for an uncut link because I like to see how the casing holds and it snapped perfectly with each bite. I'm not a big sauce buy but their sauces have flavor - not just sugar and tomato - and the hot is only slightly so with a focus on smoky heat vs. "mouth pain." That's nice to find, especially at a smaller place. Will absolutely go back for the sausage and will see how the brisket evolves. Has me curious about the pork ribs now, too.

It was okay. Kind of expensive. The beans are the only thing with flavor. Brisket really has no taste. Needs a better BBQ flavor. Leave it on the grill a little longer to make a better smoke ring. I've had better BBQ elsewhere.

Sure, go downtown and stand in line at Franklin's, Black's, or blah, blah, blah. But if you're anywhere near Cedar Park, Leander, Liberty Hill, or Round Rock on Friday & Saturday, you NEED to see that great BBQ doesn't require standing for 3 hours (I reserve the right to update this after Jeremy Archer gets "found out.") Brisket is my fave, but he's making me rethink that with his pulled pork. It's also very difficult to eat Keto with his mac 'n cheese in your face. Someday I'll be able to resist...but not today.

As smoked brisket is absolutely my favorite food, I read about and chase it all over Texas; looking for that hidden gem that isn’t over-hyped and over-marketed. FOUND IT!! Hands down, Archer BBQ serves the best brisket I’ve ever had...and I’ve tried “the best”. Perfect bark, smoke ring, texture and flavor. If you haven’t tried it yet, Brother (or Sister) your are missing out. But don’t stop at the brisket. The pulled pork, sausage, beans and the sauce (oh the sauce!) are epic in their own right. You’ll definitely want the 3 Meat Plate. Better go early though, they sell out often. Can’t wait to go back!

A little off the beaten path, but well worth the stop. Had the 2-meat plate with Brisket and Sausage w/ Hatch Green Chili Mac and Cheese on the side. Not a big bean/potato salad guy so cant speak to it...Brisket and Sausage were cooked really well with plenty of flavor, especially the sausage. Brisket was very tender, No knife required. Im by no means an expert but I thought the bbq sauce was good. Almost didnt need it. Hatch Mac and Cheese was unique and excellent. Person I was with ordered some Ribs and after trying one I have to say they are really, really good. Excellent flavor from the rub and smoke, and also cooked perfectly. 5 Stars for the Ribs and also the service from Mr. Archer. Very efficient and attentive, he cares about his product and it shows. Dont live in the area but I will certainly return when Im in town.

Brisket was tender and smokey but not as flavorful as some others. The sauce was horrible. It tasted like it had chilli powder or Cumin in it. Potato salad had a little too much mustard in it but it was OK. Cole slaw was OK but not a lot of flavor. I had to ad some Malted vinegar to it. If Google did half stars, I would give it 3.5.

Phenomenal. I had a three meat plate with brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. Brisket had the right amount of fat and the fat was well rendered. Good smoky flavor without being overpowering or bitter. You're very tender. Pulled pork also had a good smoky flavor and you could taste pork through the smoke. For me, the high point was the pork ribs. Really tender. Juicy but not fatty. A good balance of sweet and savory flavors in them. I'm normally a brisket guy, but I'll come back here for the ribs. With regard to the sides, The potato salad and coleslaw are both good. The beans were excellent. A lot of flavor and some good vegetables. I will come back here regularly.

We bought $80 worth of BBQ and it was a ton of meat and sides ... told Jeremy it would taste good the day after too ... he said, "you won't have any left." He was right ... we devoured it. Archer BBQ going places, so get some!

Been wanting to try this place for awhile and had an opportunity today. Picked up 2 brisket sandwiches, one lean, on moist. I will give it to them, it was a dang good sandwich. The brisket on both sandwiches was flavorful and tender. I love the rub, just enough salt and pepper for that kick of flavor I look for in my brisket. I recommend you giving them a try, you won't be sorry.

What can I say about this place? it's a one man barbecue eatery but don't let that fool you. I didn't have much interaction with Jeremy but the food speaks for itself. Brisket was good and the portions excellent, price was reasonable compared with other places.

Fantastic brisket! Great pork ribs! Both done true to form. The brisket had a great salt and pepper bark. And when you ask for moist brisket it melts like butta! I would claim to be a Texas BBQ person and frequent all the central Texas places every week. Terry blacks and Franklins are my usual go to places. I'm always looking for a place in the Cedar Park area so I don't have to drive downtown. This is my new favorite up here. Glad my wife suggested it!
