Daylight Donuts

I like little hole In Wall Mom & Pop places like this . This one has been here for years and just like it says on the sign get there by daylight if you want a good selection because once they run out that's it for the day . After a disappointing trip not finding posty cards at the train place I was happy to see this doughnutorium on my way back into town. It's got everything you like about Daylight Donuts but with Kolaches! Not many donuts left in the case, but that's pretty standard after 10:00am - apparently they keep a stash of kolaches in the back for tourists like. Trying to find a great donut shop and stopped by while driving to get my child a chocolate bar. Nice couple. Selection was not great. It was 8 am so maybe the good ones were taken by an early morning rush. Nevertheless we got our donuts. The dough was good. Chewy on the inside but a little too crisp for me on the outside. Overall they were decent but there are countless decent donut shops.
