They open at 10. Came at 10:15. They weren’t ready for orders. Said will you be at 10:30. They said yes. Came back at 10:37. Still not ready.Sucks because I was craving and this is a rip off of that and so I came out here just for that after my workout (which if you workout you know how important food timing is).Get your stuff together Japan Cafe.

HORRIBLE PLACE!! They can't get orders right and they refuse to fix it when they do it wrong! I ordered chicken teriyaki and diet coke and they gave me shrimp teriyaki and dr pepper. When I told them the order was wrong, they actually said, "too bad. You should watch." We were looking for a clean place to sit, not knowing we needed to watch them Don't go there!

4 chicken teriyaki plates 1:09pm and the rice was spoiled. Just opening the plate you could smell the sour smell of the rice. Tried calling their number 3 times and got no answer. I do recall a ladies complaining about something but I tried to distance myself from the counter and my order was to go. NOW I KNOW WHY SHE WAS COMPLAINING ?

If you want to grill something, use jagrill, if you have one. If you want to boil something in a pan, use japan. This is really your typical Japanese Mall Food Outlet, which (shh) isn't Japanese at all. It's just large portions of very sweet meat (sugar ftw?) with some questionable but somewhat healthy and somewhat greasy veggies. It's not bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it. The main reason I come here is for protein after lifting, but even then there's better options. Still, the service is okay, and the price is affordable, especially considering the portions you get. And in a mall which doesn't have a lot of great food options, it works better than most places, and at least it's locally-owned.

Worse experience here, I ordered chicken nodle for my daughter and then I changed mind that I want it with noodle and the guy said we already maid your order you cannot change it!Rude and unreasonable people!Dont buy please

Food is good but cashier is super rude! Also this place closes 15 minutes earlier than what they are supposed to! Probably earlier I just happened to show up 15 minutes before they closed.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I will never eat at this place ever again. (Which is too bad because we loved eating at your place) I ordered the beef teriyaki plate and never got the chance enjoy it. After I placed my order, I hung out by the counter with several other customers waiting for their orders too. The cook would place Styrofoam containers on the counter and let people know that their order was ready. I was never called or gestured for my order. After about 30 mins was able to get the cooks attention and ask about my order. He had the audacity to tell me that I should have been at the counter 30 minutes ago to get my plate and that he does not have my plate now. I was at the counter! He did not offer to make it right and I demanded a refund for the food I was not getting. He continued to act like he had no customer service training at all. I would have likened his manners of a entitled employee. I am a business owner and I would have fired this man on the spot. This place has no professionalism what so ever! Little does this pea brain employee know is that customers are the reasons why establishments stay in business. Horrible service!

My family of 5 love this place. We frequent it often. The food is also very good. The staff is very accommodating to us cause we are a bit picky. But the staff know us so well now that they call us their friend. Give it a try!
Great food. Never have had bad experience here. My family and I are regulars, we love this place . No complaints what so ever. Staff is very friendly. 10/10 recommend.

Always seems like the employees have something better to do. One employee was on his cellphone while the other sneeze into his hand and pick his nose and didn't wash his hands before interacting with guests again. This place is gross and disgusting. Have pride in your work.
