Had a wonderful meal here. Food quality and flavors were excellent. I felt the prices were a bit steep for Cedar Park(ie:$34 catfish) ; yet the area is lucky to have such a jewel. The catfish was delicious by the way. Nice cocktail and wine list. I recommend the barrel aged cocktails. Banana nut Old Fashioned was top notch! Other favorites were the fresh oysters, Shrimp & Grits, and the okra.... Oh, the okra!

Ate our weight in delicious oysters. Shrimp cocktail with large prawns. I had a purple drink with an adorable violet floating that was very good.Dessert was yummy and big enough to share. Great date spot or dinner with the girls. The atmosphere is clean & cozy with excellent service. Will be back.

We've been coming here since they opened and try and tell everyone we can about it. It's definitely one of our favourite places to eat in general and definitely the best in Cedar Park. The food is incredible and drinks are amazing. The oysters are just as good, if not better, than what you can get downtown Austin. We love the revolving menus and never had a bad dish here. Brunch is amazing and dinner is always delicious. The staff is also INCREDIBLE. They remembered us after our first visit and are always so friendly.

The staff here is friendly, diverse, and authentic. What a gem to have a restaurant you'd expect to have the quality and atmosphere from a restaurant in downtown Austin, here in Cedar Park! Their seafood gumbo is AUTHENTIC and absolutely delicious with a flavorful, slightly zingy, dark roux.As a grandaughter of the bayou, this place tastes like home! Definitely come here over Pappadeaux.

Fantastic, upscale food in Cedar Park. Cocktails, seafood, and sides were all great. As someone who makes a lot of grits and cornbread, both of their takes on them were worth the ride over. Only con is it was a bit pricey (15$ for a cocktail? What is this Vegas?)

Wow, what a gem in the Cedar Park/ Leander area! Clearly the chef and staff value their reputation here. Food = top notch. From the cook to the flavor, incredible. The staff has always been amazing. Thank you Courtney for taking care of us, and thank you Chef Nico for consistently exceeding our expectations each time we dine here!

We were absolutely stunned to not find this place packed out the door for Sunday brunch. The food was perfectly executed, the drinks were generously poured, the staff was phenomenal, and the ambiance was second to none. If you've ever been to New Orleans, this place definitely captures the feel of some of the more visited destinations and, if you haven't, it will give you a real sense for what it's like. I know it's not your typical Leander/Cedar Park Tex-Mex or Burger joint but trust me when I tell you that La Joie is worth your time.

Good vibe. Quiet and chill. We got biscuit & gravy and seafood gumbo. The foods taste okay, not outstanding nor terrible. But when considering the size, I do feel they are a bit overpriced.

Food & cocktails were really good. Love the cozy feeling of the restaurant.

This place is a much needed addition to Cedar Park, and the food and cocktails are generally great. That said, please consider to not substitute crawfish for lobster in your mac and cheese. I understand you might run out of lobster on occasion but the crawfish is a very mediocre substitution, imho. That may reflect my personal taste and disappointment more than anything because the lobster mac and cheese if so far over the top! If you run out of lobster, consider pulling the dish from the menu. Keep up the great work!

I so want to write this note but am afraid that I will not come even close to saying enough great things about our dinner at La Joie. The setting and decor are warm and inviting. This is date night extraordinaire. While I enjoyed our table, I have to admit I was jealous of the crowd at the bar who got to enjoy the green velvet bar stools. They are super cool and emblematic of the attention to detail that is so obvious everywhere at La Joie. The wine list and bar menu are fun and accessible from both complexity and price. This too was designed to add fun and sophistication. The food menu has choices for every palette and everything we tried from fresh oysters, to apps to entrée and even dessert was fantastic. BTW: make sure to leave room for the lavender ice cream. On top of the wonderful dining experience, we got to meet the Chef and owner. After meeting him, it is no surprise this place is absolutely killing it. Chef is a young guy who in the middle of the pandemic decided to pursue his dream. There is no doubt that hard work and talent are still the basis of success and the absolute proof is La Joie.If you love a cool date night place then come. If you're a local foodie searching for the next great meal then come. But if you want to see the dream in action and support it coming true then come now and come early. Say hello to the Chef and be ready to have your faith and dreams restored.

Le Joi nailed it IMO. Great balance between modern and old school, small quaint place, well-trained & friendly staff, some of the best gumbo we've had in/around Austin, creative cocktails. Wife had Shrimp & Grits, I had the Pork Chop - both delicious. It IS pricey, and the menu could have a few more entrees on it, but we loved it. Highly recommend!

Fabulous choice for brunch when you are in the mood for something different. Boudin balls and biscuits are must as a staters and nothing else really matters after that. Just keep ordering exceptional and unique cocktails and laissez les bon temps rouler.

Everything is made from the scratch. It was delicious. The cocktails were amazing! Not too boozy, very well balanced and not sugary at all. The Oysters were fanatic!
