This is the place I had to go to pick up pierogis from Apolonia Catering, Pierogi and More. I ordered some through their FB page. I grew up eating them and can make them if I had to. But it is time consuming and makes a ton of them. Ordered three dozen for pick up on that Friday. Drove over for the 11AM pick up time. When I got there, a woman in an apron was leaning on the door talking to another woman standing outside. I wait a polite distance away for COVID reasons. After a couple of minutes she spotted me and asked if I was picking up an order. I confirmed I was and my name. She goes inside and back out within minutes. Hands me a bag with the three dozen separated into a dozen each. Once home I take three out of a bag to have for lunch. The rest went into the freezer. A little butter into the pan and lightly sauted them. A dab of sour cream on top and lunch was served. unbelievably delicious! Just like Grandma used to make. There are about eleven different fillings. Without a doubt, I will be ordering more

Hired Karen to cater my daughter's wedding reception. Loved Karen, Loved the food at the tasting. The event was a complete disappointment.I ordered and paid for 100 guests. Only 70 guests showed and she ran out of food. The beef was dry, the appetizers did not come with the sauce as presented at the tasting, and my guests kept asking me where the food was. I tried to contact her several times after the event and she would not respond. Was very very very disappointed. Do not trust your special event to this woman.

I was really super excited to work with Karen and her family for my wedding. Great reviews, very responsive via email, very enthusiastic... We went in for a tasting and it was very professional. We discussed at length the menu options, appetizers and mini chicken fried steaks 2 ways and a killer mac-n-cheese bar with ohsomany toppings. I felt like she was just as excited about the food for my wedding as I was! She even kept in touch in the weeks/days prior to the wedding to let me know we are all on track, to keep me from worrying. The customer service, up to this point, was awesome! Our wedding was a weekend event and Mr. Luna came out the day before to set up the tables in our dining area - the place looked absolutely stunning! They provided the dishes, the wine glasses, the champagne flutes, all the silverware, the serving dishes... absolutely everything. They were there on time, the food was delicious, everyone was happy. My reason for not giving 5 stars is simple - the mac-n-cheese bar that we discussed at length (2 kinds of mac both white and yellow, toppings of bacon and green onions and blue cheese and bread crumbs and the list went on and on... it was going to be QUITE the event in itself) turns out to be yellow mac and crumbled bacon. I was disappointed but I didn't say anything at the time because it was my wedding day, I didn't want to tarnish the day with a confrontation about the food. I waited 2 weeks before I contacted Karen, via email, asking for an explaination. She wrote me back saying they had just accidently forgotten the toppings at the shop (and the white macaroni I suppose??), and she was really sorry and "it's not like you didn't get something you paid for" but she wanted to check her billing records to be sure that was the case. I didn't hear back. I waited another week before sending her another note letting her know I had waited so long to contact her with hopes of her bringing it up to me. Hopes of customer service letting me know why this detailed conversation we had about this stand-alone mac-n-cheese bar turned out to be moot. I know it may not be that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, but she had one job and it wasn't done properly. Luna's Catering should have followed up with me about this one job, letting me know why things went ary, but again they didn't do that. I had to ask. And when I asked about it I received a dismissive email about money. Very unprofessional customer service and follow through.

Luna's Kitchen catered our daughter's wedding and we could not have been happier. There were almost 200 guests for a family-style sit down meal and it was wonderful. We had pasta with different toppings to choose from, and all were delicious. I had the chicken Alfredo, and when I went to my daughter's table to see how they were doing she asked if I tried the vegetarian choice. When I told her I had not she gave me a bite of hers... so delicious! She was very happy with the food as well. Karen was very nice and accommodating and was able to work within our budget. I felt bad that the venue we chose did not have a kitchen, but she somehow made it work. I highly recommend Luna's Kitchen. Very reasonable to staff the bar as well. Everyone looked professional and were all very friendly.
Is this place still open? I saw good reviews here and took my wife for lunch Thursday and there was a closed sign.

Although I have not yet had the pleasure of Luna's Kitchen catering my wedding (which they will be doing in early December), I did have Karen Luna make and deliver breakfast tacos for my groom's weekend. I could not be more pleased with everything. The food was delivered with ease, was hot and ready to eat immediately, and was out of this world delicious. We went with a wide variety of choices, from egg and cheese to egg and sausage, bacon, chorizo, barbacoa, and more. AMAZING!!! I HIGHLY recommend you take advantage of the opportunity to hire Luna's Kitchen for your own need(s).

The meals had huge portions, and delicious flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Too bad we don't live closer to their restaurant.
