We ordered delivery from Modern Kitchen. Frankly, we did not like anything we ordered. Being a business owner I try to give a benefit of the doubt on what maybe went wrong when it is one thing that wasn't so good. Sadly, the entire order didn't go so good, taste wise. Our greatest disappointment in the order was the steak hibachi, it was super bland and plain.

We ordered soup, General Tso Chicken and Hibachi Chicken and Steak. We also ordered egg rolls and spring rolls. The food was hot when it arrived, as it was delivered, that was nice. The Steak and Chicken were very tasty, the fried rice was ok, needed a little more flavor. The Spring Rolls were very good, as were the egg rolls. The meat in the soup had been cooked in a sauce and it was not as good as we had hoped. All in all, we felt the portions were rather small for the price we paid.

I'll start by saying that for me, customer service is THE most important factor for any business. A restaurant doesn't have to have the BEST food, it just needs to be GOOD but have GREAT customer service. Similarly, if the food is good but the service is TERRIBLE, you can bet I won't be back. Unfortunately, this place falls in the latter category. The food isn't great, but it's good, and compared to panda express which is about the same price, this place is better. However the service is seriously lacking. I called to place my order and the man on the phone was very kurt. He was in such a hurry that he never asked my name, told me when or how to pickup, and once I gave him my credit card number, said "ok" and hung up. I had to call back to ask when I should pickup, to which he replied "20 minutes" and hung up again. Then when my husband arrived 20 minutes later to pickup, there were 2 other people waiting outside of their cars and nobody knew how to pickup as the restaurant door is blocked with a table when you open it and nobody even acknowledges you. I had to call again... 15 minutes later, he finally received our food after he was given someone else's order by mistake, and when he asked if they were sure it was our order was told to "check the phone number" because they hadn't bothered. He literally could have just walked away with someone else's food. No acknowledgement at all.. I'll keep the rest of this short... PROS: Great price. Perfectly cooked veggies. Chicken and beef are pretty good. Not great, but good. Sauce is tasty. Packaged well CONS: poor customer service, food was 15 minutes late , noodles are overcooked so a little soggy and the chicken hibachi is mostly veggies which they then layer chicken on top of to hide that fact.
Even though this is a new place and I fo LP LP want to support them, I can't give them more than 2 stars. Mongolian dish resembles nothing like a real Mongolian dish, hibachi was OK, and at best edible. The Gyoza was good. Portions were good and lots of veggies in all dishes.

First time ordering delivery from her and loved it!! Our plates were stuffed and hot as they arrived. This will definitely become a regular for us. Also you can't beat $2 dollar delivery. I got the steak & shrimp hibachi, the noodles needed some soy sauce but were very good. I would highly recommend!

The food was not the worst Chinese ever but super basic. The sushi was very basic, not flavorful at all. I'm sure it was imitation crab....On a side note...They charge .50$ for chili sauce? Is this a new trend? Anyway....regretful decision to go with modern kitchen

Well it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It was about 3ish - sauce on the chicken was gelatinous & the Lo mein was way over done with no flavor. The sushi roll was dry & lacked flavor as well. Maybe I'm just expecting too much? Sigh

My mother’s birthday and my brother stopped and ordered dinner. He was told it would be 40 minutes, so he paid $140 and they had to wait in the van. After 45 minutes, they checked on the order and they were told 10 more minutes. Him and his wife got down several times to check and they were told the same thing every time.
