Absolutely love Takara! Everything we had was so fresh & soooo good! The kids loved the Chicken Teriyaki & the sushi rolls were great too! Presentation for the Bowl was incredible! Great for families or Date Night!

Risotto appetizer was devine, enough for 3 people. We had several of the specialty rolls. We had to ask about cold sake, and they have a good selection.Service was so slow, only one person for a large section and it wasn't that busy when we got there. Decor is very elegant and pleasing. Great pre-hockey game venue.Kid-friendliness: Several families with children were there.

Not great as far as sushi goes, but not terrible. The portions are pretty big and it's not very expensive.

Their food was amazing. Great vibes and our server was really kind. The beef and shrimp came on a sizzling plate (photo below); it was great. Definitely recommend.

Over priced for meh food. Ordered chirashi sushi. It was not Chirashi at all and crappy fish!! Very upsetting. If you don't know how to make it, then don't make it. Yeah. Even sushi, there is a correct way and very wrong way. Drink was good. Everything is just overpriced.

I first went to Takara for a Happy Hour with some coworkers. I have to say, one of the better sushi happy hours in the area. There were pretty good deals on apps, rolls, and drinks. My favorite drink on the menu was the Lycheetini, I could drink this on the regular. Our favorite appetizer was the 7spice Shrimp, perfectly breaded and flavorful. Now for everyone's favorite part... the sushi rolls. Realistically priced, so fresh, and so delicious. My favorite rolls are the Rainbow Roll and the Dynamite Spider Roll. My husband really loves the Longhorn as well. The service is great and the ambiance is quaint. If you're looking to get takeout, Takara is a great option as well. The pictures attached are from our takeout order yesterday evening. Packed nicely and still had a pretty presentation. Most importantly, they all still tasted great. I highly recommend Takara for Happy Hour or to get your sushi fix. Remember to try the Lycheetini!

$16 for bulgogi take out which was a small rice portion and 10 pieces of bulgogi - nothing else. In cedar park Texas, that's a bit of a joke!

This is the best sushi option in Cedar Park. My family comes here at least twice a year, and we've never been disappointed. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The sushi is fresh and delicious, especially for the price. The drinks and well made and there is a great happy hour menu, and we always make sure to get there early enough to order off of.

Ordered a bunch of their sushi, which they are extremely pricey for what you get in terms of quality, just fyi.. Requested separate containers due to different allergies for everyone n this is how they packaged it. They refused to repackage it n remake the rolls. Def not happy with customer service or the quality. I've had better quality from grocery store grade sushi in Southern California. Extremely disappointed.

We go to Takara once every week. We love the Texan and the Habana sushi rolls. Full bar for happy hour, perfect spot to have a delicious and healthy lunch with a cocktail if you prefer. Service is fast, servers are kind and efficient, and food comes fast. Love this local spot. PS, my favorite is the spicy salmon from the happy hr menu :)
I went twice this week, once for a Wednesday lunch and then again for Friday date night. Both visits were superb. Excellent service and very tasty food! My husband and I look forward to going again and again.Wonderful quality of sashimi, tasty drinks, and great ambiance.

Since moving to Texas I’ve been in search of a sushi place that rivals the ones back home in GA. I think I’ve finally found a comparable option in Takara Sushi! The atmosphere is nice, food was great, service was friendly and quick as well. I got the Bluefin feast roll with was absolutely delish! I love the jalapeño ginger reduction they use. It’s not super spicy but still has a little bite to it so it’s not bland. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Been to this place a few times for happy hour and enjoyed it every time! They have some good cocktails, sushi and appetizers on their happy hour menu. The service has always been great, everyone is very friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good, all the appetizers I've had on happy hour have been delicious! The sushi is good but would definitely love to see more variety on their happy hour menu. I did notice there are some drinks on the happy hour menu that is not on the regular menu so do recommend asking the waiter about the HH drinks in case you have any questions. Lychee Saketini was my favorite!

Gorgeous venue! The atmosphere and service was wonderful even though the place was very busy. Their drinks were fantastic, would definitely recommend. The steak was very well cooked and the presentation was beautiful. My wife said her Salmon was delicious. We went with the Creme Brulee for a desert and like everything else it did not disappoint. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
