I dropped by on a Thursday at 5pm for drinks with a friend. Open sign was on the door, but the door was locked, chairs were upside down on the tables, and there were old empties sitting outside. I don't know if they're permanently closed, but it looked terrible.

Great burgers and some unique beer selection. But only one server in the place and many many beers out.

I don't know if things have changed or times are tougher but as much as I love this place it's just gotten so so expensive. I had one local craft beer, it cost 8.12 without tip. It wasn't a special seasonal it was just a local set we're taking ten bucks per beer if you tip appropriately. I just can't y'all. I still love this bar but it's a stop for one kind of place, not a stay and chill and that's sad because the vibes are so great they just scream stay here a while.

Everytime I come here i'm expecting to see Jon Taffer walk through the door because this bar definitely needs rescuing top to bottom.

My favorite pub in the Austin area. It's a retreat, a hideaway, totally unassuming from the exterior and totally welcoming inside. I'm no spring chicken, but I'm usually the youngest patron when I go. And I like that! Everyone's chill and friendly and safe.In addition to the beer and wine selection, I quite like the food as well. The crispy chicken sandwich with homemade potato chips is perfect. Also, one time they had a marinara burger as a special. Life-changing.

One of my favorite places. Fantastic selection of beers on tap, great food menu with a variety of pub type options, good service, dart boards, unique atmosphere. If you enjoy decadent food, I recommend the monte cristo sandwich. If you want something a little lighter go for one of the burgers or the chicken sandwich. The General Tso chicken sandwich is fun twist.

Fun place! I always have a good time. Last couple times I've been, it's been real warm inside, and the beer seems a bit warm as well. Besides that, I love it there.
