First time we tried Via 313 pizza in Cedar park, Detroit style pizza and arugula salad were great. The food definitely delicious and want to try something new from menu. But we were disappointed in customer service, the waitress was nowhere around even she was constantly in the dining room, chatting with chefs in the kitchen and ignoring customers and lastly heavy metal music as a background for lunch- no thank you for families with kids.
Their food almost always tastes good, and the staff is very friendly. They dont answer the phone when they are busy, so you have to place your orders online. They tend to run out of things quite often since they are such a hotspot but since they don't answer the phone during times they tend to tun out, it's hard to know what they actually have to offer. My biggest qualm with this amazing place is that unlike their sister shop on Guadaloop in Austin, they NEVER PAY ATTENTION to how you want your pizza made. You can be as specific as you'd like, but extra pepperoni is never really extra, and requesting sauce under the cheese will almost always get you sauce both under and atop (or maybe no sauce at all).... Their cheese bread may also just be bread with hardly any cheese on top. Best recommendation for dining here- don't try to get fancy. Order exactly what their menu offers or you may find yourself short on ingredients, or disappointed because they didn't actually read your request as they prepped your food.
This was my 1st time at this location. My gluten free pizza looked like a mistake. Its tasted so so. It tasted like a piece of dry bread with a little cheese and sauce. I would not recommend it from this location. (I never had issues with my pizzas from the Via 313 on Guadalupe, by UTs main campus.) I also ordered gluten free dairy free cheese sticks that tasted great! They tasted so good, we ate them before taking a picture. My second pizza was a dairy free pizza with pineapples which tasted great. It was cooked perfectly. The crust was chewy, the cheese was good and the perfect amount of sauce. So overall, bottom line, if you want to know your pizza taste and looks good go to Via 313 on near UT Austin.
Monday night, party of 2 seated within 10 minutes. Service was a bit slow due to being busy and training new employees. Even still, the crew was super friendly and accommodating. They were unable to serve the beer flight, reason: they did not have the flight glass setup. :( Anywho, the salad was super fresh and the pizza was delicious! I'll be back soon to give it another try.
Excellent pizza! We ordered out for a big family dinner with a Classic Cheese, Herbivore, Cadillac and Detroiter pies. Thick crusts, crispy on the outside, soft and slightly chewy on the inside, with deep flavors from the cheese combined with all the toppings. Definitely a good choice!
Via 313 absolutely lives up to the hype. I’ve wanted to eat here for a while but the wait was always super long. We scored a table mid afternoon on a Saturday and were not disappointed. The Detroit- style pizza is so delicious and different from anywhere else around here. The melty, crispy cheese on the edges is ah-mazing. They also have a decent selection of beers on tap and the Cesar salad was well-made. Loved the chill atmosphere and the service was friendly and attentive. Five stars! Can’t wait to go back!

As a fellow Detroiter I was absolutely pleased with Via313!! This reminds me of an upgraded version of Buddy's. It's been a while since I been there but I don't remember it being that good lol. The cheese has the perfect pull. The pepperoni is delicious, best pepperoni I've had. Pizza can be bland at times, but this was far from it. They even had Vernors pop, yes I said pop (aka soda) and Superman ice cream which are two Detroit classic items. So glad I came back here again.
I have a recent celiac diagnosis so I can still remember eating here before. My wife brought me a gluten free pizza today. Either 1) I got the wrong pizza 2) their new and improved GF dough is the best I have ever had. Expensive! $17 and that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. My pizza had like 8 tiny little pepperonis :( but the portion is good for one person and I am a pretty big guy. I don't even mind the $17, but for a premium I should have fair toppings to go with it. I am adding some pictures as the "old" GF pizza pics look like a typical GF crust (dense bricks). But this was light, fluffy, tasty... simply good! Something GF people sometimes long for. I highly recommend you try it.
Oh my goodness! This place really hit the spot! My youngest was going to "Die if she couldn't eat pizza." Being that we wanted her to stick around, we figured we would try to find somewhere with pizza. This place is a little confusing to get to, but worth the trek for sure! It's right by a burger joint! I had the salad with goat cheese and chicken. Aaaaamazing. My girls had a half and half pizza of cheese and pepperoni. Also- SHOUT OUT TO EVERY PIZZA PLACE IN THE WORLD THAT LET YOU GET TWO TYPES OF PIZZA IN ONE!!! Moms everywhere are SO THANKFUL!!!! The pizza is Chicago style so they actually put the sauce on top. I didn't get pizza but everyone there loved it. My mom and I shared the artichoke appetizer, and it will change your mind on artichokes FORVER!!! Absolutely will be back, can't recommend enough!
Amazing pizza! High-quality ingredients, sauce is delicious and fantastic service! I highly recommend.
Very clean space, with VERY delish food. And good service. Everyone had a smile on their face. Made us feel comfortable.
FANTASTIC PIZZA! Crust perfect. The only reason I give it 4 stars is they are very conservative on the sauce. But don't let that stop you. Ask for extra because it's delicious too.
Came here for the first time ever and this did not disappoint! We got the cheese bread and two Detroit style pizzas and one bar style (thin circle pizza). Everything was so so good! The crust is nice and crisp and the flavor is so good! I don't know how else to describe this but the pizza is so so good! It is a lot of bread though so be prepared for that. It's not Chicago style (which is just a pizza casserole) it's a thick bread crispy sides and delicious toppings! If you are any some pizza you need to come try this place!
Personality Plus here at VIA 313. Loud music and lots of it. The wait staff overall.... Meh. We all know how I am about Customer Service and sadly one thing I didn't see here was any camaraderie. I guess maybe that doesn't matter to most people but it does to me. Our specific wait person was Victoria and she was great. After 3 different team members passed by me with my mouth opening to make a request she came from somewhere up front ...to my rescue ...and took care of my request for salt & pepper -immediately. I was trying to eat the beautiful garden salad they brought. It had adequate dressing but zero flavor. Not sure if there wasn't enough vinegar but there definitely was no salt or pepper or any other kind of seasoning. I really love a simple vinaigrette but salt and pepper is a must! Otherwise the salad was very crisp and clean and chopped perfectly into bite-size pieces. The garden salad had crisp Romaine lettuce, sliced carrot, some red onion, sliced cucumbers and cherry tomatoes We ordered the large which was $9 and shared it. We ordered a $15 Detroit style (thick crust) Hawaiian pizza. VIA puts their sauce on top of the Detroit style pizza. I guess that's kind of their signature. It reminded me very much of Buddy's Pizza that still exists in the Detroit area in terms of the buttery-but crisp golden brown square small (4-squares) or large (8 squares) pizzas. VIA's sauce is a little on the sweet side but not overly sweet. The pineapple rings- one whole ring per square-were great. The ham was very tasty- but it was scarce. Overall the pizza was great. Hubby had a coke $3 -although VIA has exceptional soda flavors including "Faygo" and "Vernor's Ginger Ale" (again big memories for me as I used to walk by the Vernor's Bottling Plant at 7-mile and Shaefer). Now then - I really splurged and ordered a "Boston Cooler" $6 another Detroit-centric beverage- it's composed of Vernor's Ginger Ale and Vanilla Ice Cream mixed together- not as thick as a milkshake but definitely as rich! It was like having dessert with dinner. YUM! VIA's To Go area for pick up is to the right when you walk in-handled separately from the main part of the restaurant where the pizza oven's are. There were about eight wait staff up front- three behind the counter and five out serving-Kind of lined up in front of the food service counter. There was a steady flow of "to go" customers. Considering this was a Tuesday after Labor Day Holiday the bar stools were pretty much full and the restaurant had a good amount of diners. I know I mentioned it earlier but the music was really loud. It was good music but after about 10 minutes I wished it was just a decibel quieter. Anyway we definitely recommend VIA 313. We will return.
