The only bad thing about this place is the location. It's in the middle of nowhere when it should be in every city. The BBQ is to die for. The staff is great, even the management makes you feel welcome. It's worth going out of your way
We went here for the first time and it was one of the best experiences I've had at restaurant maybe ever. The manager was so respectful and even the owner was there and made us feel like family. The food was amazing and home made! We will definitely be back!

ok food with outlandish price ordered a 1/4 of ribs and received one rib that had no meat the mac and cheese was cold and hard workers were smoking cigarettes when I first pulled up no one greeted me they were also smoking pot WHILE MAKING MY FOOD!!!! Wasn’t a joint or nothing like that I used to smoke they were smoking carts and coughing all over my food honestly worst experience of my life.

Excellent BBQ, head and shoulders above most BBQ restaurants. Some of the best pork ribs I've had. Folks and service were great also.
Just went thru the drive thru at Bunk House BBq and ordered a half pound of sliced turkey breast. Paid, and left.. got home and the bag /package seemed light. Got my trusty digital scale out and with the styrofoam box it’s 2.45 oz. Is half a pound still something like 8oz?

Stopped and tried this place as I was traveling through. Nice little Bar B Que joint with a great atmosphere.Pros- One of the best tasting potato salads I have had. Sweet Bar B Que sauce was awesome, if your a fan of sweet sauces.Cons- I ordered brisket and turkey. Meat was a little cold when served. Brisket was good but I'm a fan of bark and it had none on it. Flavor was ok but reason I was using sauce.I would stop again there to eat but recommendations are to be sure the meat is warm and serve brisket with the bark on it or have that option.
The food is so good. I had a chopped brisket sandwich and fries and my husband had the 2 meat plate, with mac n cheese and coleslaw. It was all fantastic. The sausage is by far the best I have ever had. It's kinda sweet with a lil' kick at the end. I love it. The brisket is good too. My husband got a good portion on his plate. The coleslaw has a hint of pineapple. I know that may sound weird, but it was the best I ever had. The owner and his family were very nice. The place was clean and welcoming. We live about an hour from Bunkhouse and I can tell you we will make the drive for some good bbq. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful family owned BBQ place! Phenomenal food, family friendly, quality service, super respectful, 1000% recommend.Their brisket is fall apart tender and their ribs and sausage is also divine, not to mention the wonderful sides!
