Been coming to Freebirds for years and have to say this one is my favorite! Emily is awesome and you can really see how much she cares about the rest of the staff and guests. Everyone was very attentive and personable! Will be back!

Went to this Freebirds on Texas Ave recently and was very surprised at the state of the place after going in occasionally once or twice a month. The new manager (I don't know her name) seems to be very rude to her staff upfront, and I could see that employees including her were vaping and smoking weed in the back of the store when they weren't even on a break.I understand if they have medical issues, but doing drugs on the job is unacceptable especially when you need to cook and serve food to tens or hundreds of people a day. I personally do not want someone who is high handling my food and the cleanliness of the store to be high as a kite, and I don't think most people do too!I would avoid this Freebirds, stick to Chipotle or make a burrito bowl at home because even if you did go to the Freebirds on Texas Ave the portions they carelessly hand out are not worth the money either.

I can't say anything negative or positive about customer service. I ordered my food beforehand and picked it up. That being said I don't think I'll be coming back soon. The rice in both burritos were overcooked and the black beans were undercooked. This resulted in a pretty unpleasant eating experience that just left me disappointed in every way. I've had great experiences in the past but unfortunately, this was anything but.

Fresh, delicious and very friendly staff. I like that I get to choose exactly each ingredient that I like.People are so talented with wrapper art.
The bowl I ordered was good. The queso wasn't great... I probably won't order it again. The only weird part of my experience here was listening to an employee complaining about when they got caught vaping here.
