Came at 5:15 on a Saturday night to avoid the rush. Seated right by the water. Kevin, our waiter, was fun and personable. Hubby had the crab stuffed flounder, and I had the blackened redfish special and substituted the new potatoes. Both entrees were superb! Hubby never eats veggies, and he finished every single green bean. Fish and sauces were spectacular, and the green beans and new potatoes were literally so good I wanted to lick the plate, lol. What a fun, enjoyable location, and truly amazing food. Thank you for making my 49th birthday so memorable!
Wife and I stopped in and got two orders of fried shrimp. Service wasn’t the best wasn’t a fan of the slaw or fries. Was a nice atmosphere
Good food and drinks! Love the fact that you can eat while enjoying the view of the ocean.
Great atmosphere; nice breeze in the shade. Order the Seafood Queso, it’s a great starter. We ordered the Crab Stuffed Flounder, came with green beans and rice & the Seafood Salad (ahi tuna, shrimp & calamari). Wasabi drizzle w/ ginger dressing. Very good meals. Definitely a place not to miss!
Always go for the fresh catch of the day! I came here with a party of three on a beautiful Friday evening. They had a short wait time but we just went downstairs and grabbed a drink by the bar to pass time, which flew. I love the ambiance here, it's great for families and big parties. Looking directly into the sun as you guzzle margaritas and fresh fish, who could ask for more? Oh and the sea salt scrub in the bathroom was 10/10 The service time was a little slow, but for the amount of people in there they were all doing their best to serve
Excellent flounder in season. Docs gave me 3 large fillets in one order of flounder. Yumm and my husband agreed as he ate half my plate. It was crowded on a Saturday night, but we ordered to go. His shrimp was equally substantial and tasty. Docs didn't disappoint and we'll eat there again. Good value too. Atmosphere is open deck beach party vibes with indoor seating.
Ordered Seafood Lover dish, $27. The portions were small, fried Shrimp were tiny, the fried fillet was vey thin, the coleslaw looked and tasted like it was masses produced in a factory. It was all just low quality food that looked like it had been fried hours earlier. I expected more for the price. Also, they don't have any beer on tap. The only good thing was the seasoned waitress Autumn. I'f it wasn't for her attentive service, and warm smile I would have given this place zero stars.
The bartender was great! Think her name was Maya. We ordered the crab guacamole as an appetizer and it wasn't the best, just okay. Couldn't really taste any crab and I think we only got "chip portions" or the last of chips. We ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp and the crab stuffed flounder. Both of these were amazing. The food came out so fast and normally we would feel rushed to get in and out quickly in a place like this for the establishment to serve more customers but this wasn't the place. Even though we visited mid-September, there was still an hour wait. We decided to sit at the bar, which wasn't very comfortable (and I know the history with bar and why it is still the way it is), this and the appetizer disappointment being my only reason for not giving 5 stars. It felt like we were way too far away from the bar counter top making it hard to reach the food.
If you never had and love ❤ seafood ? this restaurant is a must try....it was our first time there and I was not only impressed with the great customer service from the moment we walked in (which helped make the 10 minute wait bearable) to the moment we left. The live music was not bad at all and the who performed that night is defenitley talented. We loved the open patio/deck concept with the ocean as a view made the atmosphere amazing (next time I will wait for a table closer to the edge so I can take pictures of the view)? We will definitely be having another date night ? next time he is in town. Oh and yes the food was amazing ? the vegetables tasted fresh picked, the fish was perfect with the crab stuffed in between ? ?, the steak was flavorful and paired well with the shrimp no complaints and the coastal cooler is a must try if you like Jameson and lemons I strongly suggest it.....
Went here based on TripAdvisor ratings. We’re seated inside sort of…it was cooled but there was a combo situation. There was a heat wave to be frank, it was HOT. Had the hush puppies, very tasty. Clam chowder was good. Crab cakes were really really good, as was the Redfish and crab stuffed flounder. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and entrees. Nice location with a view of the water. Interesting to be honest. Very busy. Good service
Pros- Good menu choices. Great servers (Kyle). Freshly cooked food Cons- None First time here and we had a blast. We came in for dinner and found a very clean spacious 2 deck resteraunt right on the water with a awesome band. The girls at the hostess station were not all that friendly but everyone else is. They have a nice menu with a little bit of something for you. Our server was Kyle, a very attentive, friendly and personable guy. I ordered The Stuffed Flounder w/Crab served with rice and fresh green beans. The rice had an amazing flavor, cheese beans were fresh and the flounder was stuffed very generously with Crab and topped with a sauce, this was wonderful and I'd get it again. My wife ordered the Chicken Fiesta which was 2 thumbs up, packed with flavor and a bit of kick, topped with a sauce that was yummy. I'd love to see some steamed clams on that menu. After dinner we went down stairs to dance with am awesome band that played rock and country. Bottom line- A must stop when in town.
We arrived about 130 pm on a Saturday, the parking lot was full. We had a 20 minute that was filled with watching the gents clean fish that were brought up by local boats. Doc's is a great place with a beautiful view over the water, full bar and great people. The service was top notch, our server was fantastic. The food was beyond expectations, beautifully plated, authentic, fresh and delicious. We were so pleased to get a great meal. Thanks for a wonderful lunch! Highly recommend enjoying a meal at Doc's.
This place is tip top. U sit downstairs and drink ur flight of margaritas and oysters, cevichi appetizers. Wait for your top notch seafood order to come down from the restaurant. Let the kids play by the water.. drive up on your boat, whatever, it's easy, delicious and fun.
The food was very good and our server Ashley was such a sweet person! Great atmosphere and beautiful views !
I love love love Docs! Awesome food! Great view great drinks. Excellent service Perfect sunset spot too!
