Our organization rented out Hoegemeyers for two events. David and crew were so easy to work with. Both evenings went on without a hitch. A great success and everyone had a great time.

Foods mediocre at best and the David in charge of the catering service is extremely unprofessional. There’s definitely better bbq for the price in the area I’d compare it to bill millers or Rudy’s .
The food wasn’t very good, they had no spanish rice but let us order it anyways just for it to come out with no rice and no warning. My food didn’t come with the cobbler. The brisket was dry and had little flavor, same with the sides. The lady at the register was very kind and patient, but the waitresses were rude and snappy with us over the whole rice issue. Do not recommend, you’re better off getting burger king at this point. ???Parking: Very bad lot with minimal spaces to park

Ordered the moist brisket and it was delicious. Great flavor. Plenty of room to dine and have a conversation. Careful with parking. Bumpy roads.

We had our class reunion at Hogemeyer’s BBQ and it was perfect! The atmosphere was fun and casual. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. David was extremely helpful and accommodating. We had lots of space for our group of 70. I would highly recommend Hogemeyers for a group event. Our event went very smoothly and was so easy.

Ordered Texas reuben sandwich plate. Toasted sandwich bread was practically too soggy to eat without making a bit of a mess. It was tasty, though. Pinto beans were good. Slaw was bland. "Hint" of peach cobbler (no peaches located) was doughy and more like bread pudding, but still tasty. Service was very pleasant and efficient. Food preparation was fairly quick.

Visiting from out of town and wanted to have good bbq. Hoegemeyer’s simply doesn’t disappoint. I ordered the plate with Spanish rice, potato salad, beef ribs, and marbled brisket. Everything was great, but especially the ribs and brisket. Both were tender, fall apart consistency that were perfectly seasoned and smoke. As someone not from Texas this was a great way to experience this style of bbq for the first time. Would love to go again. Also worth mentioning all the staff were incredibly friendly and nice to talk to. Great service and food.

Great BBQ with German flair! Their sauerkraut was amazing, will definitely be back ❤️Kid-friendliness: Tables and booths are generously spaced, cozy, fun atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access within sight from the street
Today was our second time visiting. We came yesterday 09/07/23 right before closing time and grabbed their beef ribs, baby back ribs and brisket. Both were VERY tender and the beef ribs were seasoned to perfection. We also had the baked beans, Texas potato salad, coleslaw and bread pudding (which was very tasty I might add). The atmosphere and the customer service was amazing and they were very accommodating. We met the owner to see if we could get their beef ribs shipped to us in Chicago and he has the best southern hospitality that we have encountered in a while. The icing on the cake was he told us he love us. That left us we a great feeling. So if you are teetering on which Corpus Christi BBQ place to stop at, THIS IS THE ONE. Sorry we didn’t get any pictures for you. The food was just that good.

The food quality wasn't the best but the staff was polite and helpful. It was cool to look at antiques around the restaurant. Parking was a little tight.

We decided to stop at this establishment after we had just visited the USS Lexington. The location is very close to downtown sightseeing areas. We had a group of 4 order items such as Po Boy, 2 meat meal, and smokehouse burger. All of our meals were excellent including the sides of Cole slaw, baked beans, and Texas tator salad. Meats were tender and seasoning was delicious! We would definitely return here again and would highly recommend to others. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mr. Page as I was exiting the restaurant. Thank you Mr. Page for taking a few moments out of your day to chat with me about my family's dining experience.

Besides the great service and friendly staff.... the food I expected more from it $23 dollars for a 3 meat and drink.. brisket didn't have flavor. The Jalepeno sausage was good, and the potato salad was perfect and by God, if you have asthma good luck eating in there smoke filled the room and you can barely breath... all in all, I give it a 2 out of 10 my apologies but brisket needs some type of seasoning...
Great food. Especially the marbled
