So I waited 15 minutes after ordering at the drive thru just for them to get the order wrong. The beef fajita burrito isn't worth what they're charging and the fried catfish plate looked delicious but it had a horrible taste. I hope it was just a off day because their food definitely looks delicious. ( I tore up the fish before grabbing the picture ) 2 whole fillets.

Came here for the first time. On first impression, we noticed the bar had multiple open bottles of tequila, along with a whole bar full of open whip cream, orange juice, strawberries, etc. We sat there for 45 minutes and all the waitresses have ignored it. No telling how long these items have been left open, and unrefrigerated. I don’t know how this place is open with so many visual health code violations. I can only imagine what the rest of the food items look like. Health code inspectors, please help!

We went here for dinner after a long day on the beach. Service was excellent. Margaritas were delicious and our food was yummmmmy!

Nice little place on the island. Great food great service. Mexican food is going to be good when the salsa is good. That is the way I grade Mexican restaurants. It has not failed me yet. The drinks look great here except I stayed non alcoholic this time around. Good prices as well.

Unassuming location and decor, decent food. Draft beer is cheaper before 7pm which was nice. Our server was friendly and attentive, chips and salsa are good. I have Chicken Monterrey which I really enjoyed a lot, my husband had a pastor torta that I think he's had better- but he goes to the real authentic torta places back home so there's a high standard. Overall, I recommend.

Good food, good service, good prices. You’re going to get basic Tex-Mex, but there’s nothing wrong with that. La Palma is a million times better than San Juan in Aransas Pass. If you’re torn between the two places, choose La Palma. Also, $5 margaritas! You can’t beat that.

We were on the island and stayed down the street from this restaurant. Saturday morning came around and we wanted breakfast. This place did not disappoint. Got there around 8 am, before their morning rush. We were seated quickly and the server brought menus right over. Good coffee and our cups were never empty! Our server was prompt and we ordered. The food came out pretty quick. I had the breakfast special which for $4.99 was chorizo and eggs, refried beans and very good flour tortillas. They had two spicy sauces, green and red. Good lord, I enjoyed them both! Hubby from Louisiana so Mexican style breakfast not his jam. He had a gringo breakfast of two eggs over easy, sausage patties, hash browns and toast. He said he liked his as well. They had a very good take out and drive through business as well. By the time we left, the restaurant was full. Would have loved to try out their dishes for lunch or dinner. There is also a full bar area, didn't think about ordering an adult beverage like a Bloody Mary, mimosa or tequila sunrise!! If you're ever on the island, be sure and try them out! I'd definitely go back!

Visiting from Ft Worth and craving some Mexican food. Reviews for this place were good, so we came here a little after 11 during thr week. No signage telling us to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. After standing a looking around for a minute, we chose a booth and sat ourselves. Took a bit for anyone to come to our table, but there was a table of probably 20-25 people ahead of us and several other tables waiting for their food, so it's understandable. Chips and salsa were good, only 1 bowl for the table and chips weren't refilled until our food came. Very extensive menu with pretty much any combination you can think of. Prices were spot on with the amount of food you get and would run you several dollars more at another establishment. I can't remember the names of the dishes we ordered, but everything was delicious. All in all we would visit again if back in the area. Just be mindful of wait times and staff shortages, which is common everywhere these days, and you will be fine!

So maybe I would have gotten a better quality dinner plate if I had dined in. Super disappointed in my beef enchilada plate tonight which came with NO enchilada Sauce and looked like laziness on the server's end with cheese thrown on top in rolled up corn tortillas. Very Mediocre!!We absolutely love this place and order from here all the time. Waste of money ? on my dinner plate!! ?

Food was ok. Priced right. Would be a lot better if they had a host. Lots of employees but looked chaotic. Took about 20 min for our menus. Chips and salsa were good. Chicken torta had good flavor, gorditas aren’t the pocket type they are the two pieces on top of each other with stuff between the two pieces type of sandwich thing.

Food order not even started before delivery person arrived. Chicken flatus had no seasoning, cold items should have been in separate container then hot. No onions in enchiladas. No salsa or chips. The only food worth eating was the shrimp cocktail.
