Great hidden gem atmosphere, tomato basil soup here is the best in town, there menu has good sized portions. But don’t get the tenderloin steak it’s not tenderloin it’s a sirloin steak I was disappointed, but given my past experiences here they still get 5 stars

We love the tomato basil soup but I would love if you had grill cheese so I don't have to go anywhere else

The place is cozy and comfy. The food I ordered was pretty good too, my only strike against it is that I ordered 6 ounces of salmon and highly doubt that it was the full 6 ounces. Good seasoning and great presentation.

One of the best chef's in town. Try their tomato basil soup! It will make your knees week. Their pasta is amazing too. I've never been disappointed with Marco's! They have excellent prices, amazing food and are extremely professional! A++++

Extremely disappointed with my takeout order. Ordered chicken parm. Took the cheese off to view absolutely burned chicken. I wouldn't even serve this to my dog.

The place is clean, well appointed with excellent staff. The food is exceptional. The Ravioli di Mare is very good. The Angel’s Hair with Oven Roasted Chicken and Tomatoes is also very good. The Creme Brule was excellent. We began with the Creamy Tomato Basil Soup which was very good. The tea was tasty. We will go again.

I absolutely hated the service. The waitress was very demanding. We showed her pictures from Yelp and she was very rude and said "ugh..that was made up" it the ugliest way. Then goes on to explain the pasta bar, like no shit. Most of the pictures on here have descriptions so it's not like I was asking her to decipher them, though she should be able to do it. Realistically there are hardly any choices in pasta and sauce. They should have it on the menu. It shouldn't be a lecture she has to give in a crowded and loud as hell restaurant. Another thing was, she gave everyone nicknames supposedly for food but she wasn't even the one who brought the food out, the women that did just asked who had what meal, because she could decipher them just by looking at them I guess. About the nicknames, she just wanted to continue being rude for sure. We left a decent tip but only because we were never going back.

Eeeek. I do not understand why this place is always packed. ??? Maybe because of the unlimited pasta bar. But, I've tried a few times to eat here and order a variety of prepared meals (not pasta bar).. and it takes FOREVER to get the food. The ambiance is old and the restaurant smells bad. The bread is tough and salty. The food has zero flavor. There aren't many options in the uptown area for lunch, so this tacky place survives because of the lack of competition.
Love this place. Best tomato basil soup in town
