Food was tasty. The tuna tacos were great. Cocktails were pretty high end for a sandwich shop. Craft ice even. I hesitated because I expect to get over iced, syrupy and w/ a chemical red cherry. Went to many restraunts on the Island and Corpus. Spent tons of money at some and less at the others. This place was the best food we ate the whole time. Pricing was amazing considering the size and taste of the sandwiches. Got Mahi Mahi, Surfside Turkey, and the Ahi Tuna sandwich. Best sandwiches of my life. I ate way too much with no regrets. Just when you think it couldn’t get any better the people cant help but make you smile. All singing, and creating a welcoming homey atmosphere. Just met these people and felt as though they were our friends. Raving review 10/10 all the way around. Thank you everyone working for being you. Y’all were the highlight of our trip:)

After waiting in line, with no exaggeration, for 20 minutes, one of the two waitresses, equipped with a handheld POS, skipped me and the guy in front of me and went to the fourth person in line. I assume the waitress wanted to split the line of waiting customers in half. If that was the reason, it would’ve been totally fine. Had she asked, but she didn’t ask. She told us that she was just going to start with the person behind me. The kicker was that she was able to get through the people behind me before the woman on the main register was able to help the person in front of her and the guy in front of me. Everyone else behind me got their order in first, as well as the two folks ahead of me. Not to mention the fact that they scream at each other, it seems, when they want to communicate with each other. If somebody has to take food out to the patio, then one of the three staff members have to leave the register or the bar or the kitchen or the customers to do so.Please do better.I called, once I left to explain my frustration and I was not heard. To the young lady I spoke with: saying “with all due respect” doesn’t mean you are being respectful.

Main course was good. Sides, specifically bacon Mac and cheese, wasn't good. Soup was a bit salty, but good.Next, they keep good people out. I wonder how many bad guys have seen the 51% sign, turned around and placed their weapon in their car following the law. It's a sandwich shop with a bar. There was way more food being made than drinks.
Atmosphere was nice, food was good. But waited almost an hour for my food, that was not prepared to my specifications when it finally arrived and to be returned to the kitchen.

My brother recommended this place to me and i’m glad he did. I got the reuben sandwich and mac n cheese; the mac n cheese was amazing, and the sandwich was too, but personal preference I dislike anything that taste too vinegary and I will opt out the onions/ginger. I’m excited to go back. If you are in town, I recommend this local shop!
