This was the second time my family had been here. Our first time was great. Food was amazing and atmosphere was perfect. We decided we would take our extended family here when we visited again. We were some of the first in to place an order and it took over 40 minutes for, a pastrami on rye, pineapple chicken, 2 grilled cheese, a burger, and tacos to come out. Got there at 11 right when they opened and didn’t leave until well after 12:30. In the mean time people who ordered after us came and went while we still didn’t have any food. I felt so bad when half the order came out and it was still another 10-15 minutes before the second half came out. I understand it was a big order, but it is just sandwiches and not complicated ones. Very disappointed and probably won’t be coming back which is a real shame because the food is good.

I would say definitely order online & just know it’s going to be about 30 mins for your order. It’s soooo good though. Worth the wait!

One of our favorite sandwich shops ever!

This place is really good. Stopped by yesterday around 5ish. I had the cold roast beef sandwich and a margarita. Both were pretty damn good. It's a pretty chill establishment. Was not disappointed ??

Delicious sandwich!!! We waited about 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches (to go). It’s a pretty cramped little restaurant but we made do. It smelled like cleaning products but we were there just 1 hour after opening so understandable. Super tasty, we were overall very happy we stopped here!

Great sandwiches. Excellent service.
We had the French Dip, the fresh runs salad sandwich, the pastrami on rye, and the turkey club. All superb sandwiches. Potato salad was very good as well. And then shared a slice of their keylime pie. We enjoyed all of it! We will be back as soon as we can visit North Padre again. Highly recommend this SurfsidecSabdwich Shoppe.

A really nice hidden gem! All of our sandwiches were awesome! 4 stars for potatoe salad having a kick to it that my parents couldn't tolerate with no warning on the menu. Pasta salad was also warm which was alittle sketchy and Mac and cheese was just okay with barely any bacon in it. So the sides were alright but the sandwhichs were awesome!

Cuban Sandwich, it was so ?, salsa on the meat, it was extremely spice ,and from what I know, Cuban Sandwich has nothing spiced on it.....I need to mention Meatballs Sandwich it was spice as weel....so if you're a person non spice try another place....
