Good atmosphere, and location. Food is decent. Very limited variety on Brunch menu! Not enough options at all! Drinks are good depending on bartender which sucks! Chicken nachos are good but can use more chicken, and the bang bang shrimp would've probably been better had they had the jalapeños in there that they said came with it!

There wasn't that many people there but the service was slow. The wings were super small for the price and tasted ok. The drinks were definitely better, order water first if you want some. I'm still waiting for my glass of water lol.

By far the worst experience in Dallas. We tired to have a birthday dinner here on a Wednesday and once they ruined it they invited us to try it again and it was even WORSE!! The extremely rude bartender (who was super drunk) and the server who never came back after taking our order were unbelievable. Thank you Gabby for at least trying but unfortunately we will never be back again!! Good Luck!

The food was okay (at brunch), but the Drag Brunch was great! Also a great deal on carafes of mimosas!

The tap house was actually not too busy considering it was Sunday 4th of July weekend. We walked right in sat at the bar and then had our drinks within minutes vs. waiting in a line for an hour. Friendly bar staff and good drink as well.

I really wanted to like this place. The patio is gorgeous. The service is horrible. The food wasn’t bad but honestly the service was ridiculous even when they weren’t busy. The two stars is for the great patio and the other patrons there. Will not be back. Sorry guys.

Extremely slow service and out of many of the cocktails. Not impressed, and the staff don't seem to care.

Came in looking to grab a bite to eat before beginning on some work. Sat out in the patio for about 10 - 15 minutes before I was finally served. The person who severed on me was the least polite waiter I have encountered here on the strip. When I went inside to ask for the Wifi password there were two gentleman sitting on the bar who stopped me to to say, “we just asked if he had been served yet”. After placing my order I never once saw the gentleman again until five minutes after I finished my meal. Which lead for me ask for my check. The food is good, drinks ok, but service and ambience, it would be best to look for a different place on the strip.

So as a LGBT person living in the Oaklawn area I am appalled at the service, food and bartenders at this restaurant. My boyfriend and I arrived at the restaurant about 530pm 4/20/2022, we were not greeted, the restaurant was not that busy and we saw 3 wait staff on the floor and 2 bartenders. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the weather. No one came over to us for 15min, we sat there and watch the wait staff literally walk by us and not say a word. We decided to go inside and see if we could service. We sat at another table and waited another 10min before finally a waiter came over to us. We order our drinks, Kettle one and soda and a beer. I looked over at the 2 bartenders and was surprised to see them SMOKING inside the restaurant!! No kidding, smoking! We ordered our food, since it was steak night, we decided to go that direction. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. The service was awful, barely came back to the table and never took the empty plates away. I love the restaurant, but it needs a STRONG management team to get it up to speed. So overall service is a 1 and food is a 2.

I used to enjoy spending hours on the patio with friends at the Tap House. Man, has it changed. The service today was terrible and they weren't even busy. We had 1 beer in over an hour. We never saw our server again and were just about to walk out on that ticket, she showed up to say they had register issues (explaining why we didn't see her after she brought our first drink). We finally paid & stopped by the restroom on our way out. Big mistake. The washroom was filthy. I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. I won't be back.

I have come to Tap house and twice I've had very bad experiences. For one they are not friendly to people of color. I've experienced it hands on. Me and a group of producers for a series were asked to leave while asking for a clean table. We were considered disturbing the peace. The lady who asked us to leave is the same one who last time was behind bar under influence ignoring the end of bar with the colored.I will never go back and will tell everyone I know my experience.

The bar is clean and well staffed. The staff is all friendly and is happy to check up on you to make sure everything is going well.Food is good. Onion rings were especially good, and did not pull out of the breading. The Cedar Springs Burger has full recommendation. Flavour is good and rich.Overall the restaurant receives full marks.

Tap house is a pretty chill place. Bartenders are nice. The drink’s are pretty good. Food can go ether way though. There fried chicken sandwich was awesome months ago when they actually used chicken breast. The way they make it now it kinda horrible a sliver of a piece of chicken battered and fried. My pinky is thicker than there chicken.

Bartender and server were wonderful. Great music and atmosphere. However, the food was not great. It was the blandest chicken (from the chicken and waffles) I've ever had. The waffles were also super dry and lacked flavor as well. I would return here for drinks or to hang out (maybe appetizers if I was in a bind) but probably would never try to order a meal again.

The server was attentive but not friendly and they have decent lunch specials, but $7.75 for a jack and coke is excessive for a place that's not busy with mediocre food.
