Luís was our server and he was totally ON POINT! The food was out to us quickly and it was delicious. Good portions and a great price! I recommend Rudy's Plate - beef taco, sour cream chicken enchilada, a beef enchilada, rice and refried beans. I've been looking for a place which serves Mexican rice like I remember it from growing up in New Mexico. I finally found it! The place is right next to Bar None - in a shopping strip so there is plenty of parking. Go here; cold beer and tasty food- you won't be disappointed.

Thus place is truly a hidden gem. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. It was well worth the drive from McKinney. Mt husband and daughter loved the red and green salsa, they said it had a kick that hit you right in the back of your throught. The chips were warm and really good. We came at happy hour so they had drink specials, the sangria Margarita is a must have. The service here is top notch, our waiter was very attentive and super nice. But the food is the crown jewel, my husband had the crabmeat Enchiladas which was the special and he loved it. I had the chicken Enchiladas which were perfecto, it had shredded chicken that was seasoned to perfection, I had to get no sause due to food allergies but they were still good. The Mexican rice was some of the best that I ever had. My daughter wanted to eat light so she had the vecina salad with marinated chicken that she raved about especially the lime vinaigrette. We truly were impressed by this restaurant and the prices, it is a myst stop whenever we are in the area.

After spending sometime at the beautiful white rock Lake, I decided to bring my three year old little boy to eat at this place based reviews sounded like a really good spot for Mexican food, our server was really nice and attentive made us some suggestions including the daily special but I had to decline the offer since I wasn’t really hungry and my son was the one that needed it to get some food so I I ordered the loaded queso and after a few bites into something hard, which turned out to be a piece of bone or plastic couldn’t tell but it was hard so I called our waiter and he apologized and took it away , a few minutes later someone that looked like the manager came back with another queso … (and this is actually the reason why I only give this place 2 atars ) I understand nothing or nobody’s perfect and things happen but As a manager, your responsibility should be to provide the best service possible even when something simple as a bone or a piece of plastic on the food happens instead, the only thing that she mentioned was “oh it was a piece of onion” dropped the queso and left ,

This place is my favorite family friendly tex mex spot. I've now been four times, and food and drinks are consistently good. Staff is very friendly. We've waited for a table every time, but there's an area by the bar where we had our kids sit and we were able to enjoy the game that was in and a margarita while we waited. I will also say that this is by far the most reasonably priced tex mex place we have visited. We'll continue to make this our go-to spot!Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly place. Every time we have been with our kids there have been several other families with kids.
