This restaurant gives fantastic service as well as yummy menu. The best place in the city. The food came out quickly and the rates were fair. Will definitely recommend this spot.

I admire this restaurant very much. there is a very special feeling. The cuisine is very tasty. the service is dynamic and the personel is courteous. The pay is fair. I highly recommend.

Great, another foolishly named American eatery masquerading as an Asian restaurant, serving up utterly embarrassing, bastardized food that bears almost no resemblance to Asian/Chinese food. Self-respecting food lovers would do well to stay away from the tripe being peddled at Gung Ho.

Listen, we came during a super busy St. Patty's weekend in the thick of COVID-19 and had a great experience. The bar staff was super helpful and prompt even with a large group and the real superstar award goes to REGGIE who is legit sanitizing the bathrooms between people. Thank you for making us feel calm and comfortable in the storm. You earned a forever customer.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit! Parking was kinda difficult, but I found a free lot just around the corner on the residential side of the neighborhood. There seems to be 3 rooms in this place. When you first walk in, you're at the bar, to your right is a room in the front facing the window and the street and if you continue walking through the bar, past the restrooms, you'll find the back room. Ambiance: It's in a trendy and lively area of town, full of people, hustle and bustle. This place stayed packed the whole night. We were located in the back, in the private room, which we had to ourselves, though there were still other tables. Service: Our server was amazing! We were celebrating a birthday of a girl who just BEAT CANCER! When reserverations were made, I was informed that she told the staff that she wants a memorable night. The came to please because we were given a complimentary cup of birthday Rose from our server. What a nice touch! Food: Sooooo good! I ordered the Mongolian chicken and let's just say my food had such great flavor and it was nice and spicy. I wasn't expecting it to taste soo darn good. When i visit Dallas again, Gung Ho will be on the "to do" list.

Great atmosphere and great service. The food was so so. We ordered the poo poo platter and while the dumpling and the ribs were great everything else was mediocre at best.

came here yesterday for a quick drink and appetizer yesterday. it was a beautiful day in dallas and the patios was open so we chose outside seating. we each got a drink, I got a thai tea shot and my bf got an IPA. we opted for the calamari lettuce wraps which were so good! the calamari was seasoned so well and it was topped with ginger and cilantro. it came with a sauce which was a little spicy for my liking but in small quantities gave the wrap a great kick. overall pretty good service, we were seated quickly and our waitress was really nice. Will definitely come again for a heavier meal.

It is with no doubt once of my favorite places to get good Thai food and have a great conversation. Great place with a warm atmosphere. I loved the Old fashioned rum.

Awesome menu with great variety. Our waitress said to go family style which was a great way to try a few different things. Dan dan noodles - YES! One of my favorite things and I've been missing so that was a treat. Charshu pork was insane - flavorful plus squishy buns and yummy sauce. Broccolini was a perfect side. Craft cocktails were good too.
