Just spectacular. Did a five course tasting menu with wine pairing and everything was exceptional. Our server (and restaurant co-owner) Jennifer couldn’t have been more attentive and lovely. Worth every penny and then some. It was seriously the best meal I’ve experienced since the last time I was in Europe, and possibly the best pasta I’ve had ever. Words cannot express.
We picked up things for home, but just couldn't wait and pulled over for the chicken sandwich. This is THE BEST chicken sandwich we've ever had. Moist, flavorful, crunch & spice. It is a good thing we live 30+ minutes away, or we'd be there daily.

This is one of my absolute favorite places in Dallas. I went once literally right before Covid took off and was sad I wasn't able to introduce anyone to Macellaio after lockdowns started. My mom and I were able to get reservations for "Pasta on the Patio". First of all, the staff did a great job of adhering to Covid safety protocols (everyone had masks on, hand sanitizer was provided for guests, table spread apart, etc).
