This place was better 2 years ago not because of covid, it's because the new owner and management (took over aprx 2.5yr ago) don't know what they are doing. Went in there with the wife and her girlfriend a few days ago and after 15 minutes the only working bartender (and is the newer owner) who was not serving anyone just kept walking past us in a not very busy bar. Finally someone in a group next to us got up and helped the rude owner make us drinks, I drank the last drop of my preferred spirit they had and never got waited on again, I just gave up ordering drinks after 20 minutes of not seeing a working bartender again.... however, the few groups of people (3-4 groups) appeared to have an employee that worked there in each group (but not working at this time) because someone was always walking to the back of the bar to serve there table without ringing anything up.I feel sorry for anyone who has eaten here recently; this place, as said by others, is disgustingly dirty and unkept. Before realizing I would never return, the owner informed us (during our short and uncomfortable conversation) that they are moving locations in a week and that he didn't want my liquor request. In attempt to strike up a conversation I asked if he is selling anything (as I expressed interest in the ice maker) or if he will be taking it with him, the owner laughed, rolled his eyes and said I couldn't afford it as I sat there in boots that are worth more than that old, unmainted moldy ice maker. If you're reading this I'd like you to know I estimate to replace and depreciate these items during a loss often, I'm well aware of what they cost old man. When departing from this unpleasant visit it became clear that the owner is relocating to a small enough location in a less expensive area so he can stay open for his younger buddies that work or steal or whatever from his grumpy self.

Met co-workers and a dog there (they're pet friendly). Service industry gets a discount and they pour good drinks. Pool tables, darts and outdoor patio

Service was very poor.I ordered a Corona with a lime and salt on the neck of bottle. Some refer to it as fully loaded.Bartender was not aware so I kindly explained. When she brought the bottle it had literally 3 grains of salt.I pushed thru it as I wanted to see the Steelers game.As the game went on getting any follow up service was tough. It's interesting because I overheard her have a brief conversation with the table right next to me and asked them if they needed anything else. Had she taken 2 more steps to my table I mat have spent more money....I tried to get the bartender attention a few times so I could close out my tab with no luck.So I went up to the bar to do it and afterstanding there for literally 2 minutes right in front of her as she was texting and never once looked up once.I finally said mam can I close out my tab. After I was done closing out my tab she went right back to using her phone with her back to her customers....I think I may go somewhere else next time for the Steelers game

Cool little place. New to the neighborhood so just scouting. The bar temptress, Kelly, is beautiful and on top of her game. Met the owner, also, and his name is 'Kelly's Boss' or something. Look at the friggin' menu! Bachelor's local watering hole paradise.

Good food but service was more oriented to customers who were there for drinks than to the only two customers ordering dinner...

Pre-covid this was a great place. Now the owner has become complacent allowing very slow service (an hour and thirty minutes to get an order) to become the norm. Sadly the positive spirit in this place is long gone!!

First time here. It was fun. Reminds me of my old neighborhood bar in Houston

Used to LOVE this place. It was decorated and clean, the outdoor lights were awesome. Fun atmosphere. Always our Holiday spot and Thursday night hangout. Yesterday we visited for the first time in a while and I got served a glass with lipstick stains on it, flat beer, no glasses to have a tall drink. The bathroom was absolutely filthy… it would take literally 5% effort to clean the sink at a minimum.Bartender was very sweet, but that’s about it for the positive.Bring back fun Malarkeys! At the very least- CLEAN THE BAR!PS what happened to the website? Updating the website, FB, Instagram- anything. Save Malarkeys!

Major lack of cleanliness/housekeepingThis used to be one of my favorite bars but it seems after the turnover of ownership, its going a bit downhill. It's become really dirty and decrepit. The beers on tap arent as fresh, bartenders offering you glassware covered in lipstick stains, the women's restroom has a fan in it covered in dust and the tampon dispenser is left busted open, the patio lights are strung but don't work. This place used to have a pulse - please bring it back!

Shephard's Pie that will leave you thinking about it for weeks. "Occasionally calling letting the phone ring a few times before hanging up wondering if it felt the same way about you" level of delicious.Awesome beer selection, great staff and atmosphere. The Irish version of Cheers that'll have you feeling like a regular on your first visit.

Good experience overall. They had some good singers for karaoke night and the food was good. The malarkey balls were good and interesting. The Ruben tasted good but it was thin. Definitely should had put more meat on that sandwich. The people were nice and so was the owner.

Great feel in this restaurant, reminded me of the TV show Cheers. Wish it was closer to my house so I could go more often. Oh, and the food was good too!!
