I visit this place on Wednesday April 3rd. I was very disappointed.. service was horrible waiter Jorge! Food wasn’t good. I asked for enchiladas and if there was extra charge to change topping. He said no but did. It made me feel as I wasn’t wanted as a customer. The drinks were on point. I don’t EVER plan to visit this location again

Can say this place has had better times. Worst I’ve had in a long while from a restaurant. Not full, yet horrible service. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t get to eat due to crazy slow service and decided to just cut bait and leave. Paid for our drinks and appetizer and left. Good luck if you decide to go.
My family recently ordered to-go food from Manny’s Uptown Tex-Mex and we loved everything we ordered. I especially liked that they offer vegetarian and vegan options. The food tasted well made and, when we went to pick up our to-go order, the staff acted nice and the restaurant looked clean and well kept. For the convenient location and quality food, I find Manny’s Uptown Tex-Mex worth it!Vegetarian options: Manny’s Uptown Tex-Mex offers both vegetarian and vegan options.Kid-friendliness: Manny’s Uptown Tex-Mex is a great place for a family meal.

My family recently ordered pick up from Manny's Uptown Tex-Mex. We all enjoyed what we ordered. We especially appreciated that they gave us two giant bags of chips and 2 large bowls of salsa with our order, unprompted. (I didn't expect that to come, for free, with our take out meal). Manny's offers something for everyone, including plenty of vegetarian and even vegan options. Everything tasted delicious. While we didn't dine in, the staff acted nice when we picked up our meal and the restaurant looked clean and well-kept. Do cheaper options exist for Mexican food in Dallas? Yes. But, for the convenient location and quality food with additional vegan options, I find Manny's Uptown Tex-Mex a great place to grab lunch or dinner!

Waiter was formally polite, but very inattentive. I noticed he checked in on two men seated at the booth next to mine and engaged in long conversations with them. He never bothered to check on me, when it would have been easy to do so. The lunch special I ordered was good. I will likely come back. I tip according to the service I get, so . . .

Absolute BEST Frozen Skinny Margaritas in ALL of Texas!! Their fajita beef is our of this world! Manny's servers are like family, the best in the biz!!! Never leave East Dallas, you are a true gem!
