Came here while visiting the Bishop Arts District and was immediately taken with the decor, followed soon by the pleasant personnel. We sat outside in their covered dining area and enjoyed a couple lamb dishes, along with the drink of the day.We started with potato & leek balanee, crunchy wonton-like exterior with a peppery soft filling adorned optionally with a minty spiced yogurt. The lamb was perfectly tender in both the Qalani Palau and the Korma. Mine was the lamb korma; the sauce was rich and flavorful, but not heavy- paired with lightly perfumed jasmine rice that was exactly the right texture. I shared the Tiramisu Martini with my wife, which was sweet and smooth and generous enough with the booze, with a cute pink heart drawn on the top. We finished off with a dessert whose name I forget, but was a silky cardamom-infused delight with a crushed pistachio garnish. No complaints whatsoever, and I look forward to bringing my wife here again. Forgive the pictures, I was into the food and forgot to take good ones.

The Lamb was amazing in both dishes we had. It was tender and so flavorful. We had the The Qablani Palau and the Lamb Korma. The bar drinks are good and pack a punch. Definitely give it a try if you get the chance. The owner or manager was so kind and helpful with all our questions. The staff and everyone were great.
I love this restaurant. I was intimidated by Afghan Food, and found as a average white Texan guy it was similar to good Grilled Mexican food, only BETTER. The grilled Beef Kabob is fantastic and served over the best Jasmine and Cherry rice ever . My Partner had the Chicken Yogurt ( Grilled chicken and grilled vegatables) with a white yogurt sauce that is wonderful.Do try this one. Split the Nora Salad...It's areal treat. The owner Matt makes his own humus and it's probably the best in town.

Good food, absolutely terrible service. It took more than half an hour for any food to come out even though we were only one of two tables seated and we'd ordered appetizers... Took forever and then several orders were wrong or items missing, vegan modifications were forgotten, and the bubbly was flat... The music is way too loud, like a club. I liked the decor and seating was comfortable. Get it together...

Love the food here. Ambiance is lovely. Drinks are good. Wine selection is great. Will come back often.
Rude servers. No gloves worn in kitchen ((barf)) and an underaged teen behind the bar without any proper training. Oh, and my sampler to go looked like something I dished up from a Walmart deli. Served as a cold dish of goop.No thanks!

Hidden gem in Bishop Arts. I’ve been a couple times now and the food nor their unique cocktails have missed. Pro tip for dog hoomans: order the lamb shank because it comes with a huge bone that your dog will love. There’s also a patio seating with a window that puts you right at the bar; great way to enjoy a beautiful day. The service of the bartender is also excellent- friendly and engaging even when juggling a lot.Very cute, chic vibe on the inside. Would be great for meeting some friends or a date. May be tough for groups as there aren’t many tables that can be brought together.

Nora is an upscale, beautiful restaurant in a very neat, fun, walkable little part of Dallas. Lots of cool little bars and shops around. It's a bit pricey, but I have zero regrets about going there. The food was delicious and different than anything I've had. I thought maybe it would be like Persian food, Mediterranean, maybe similar to Indian? It is all of those, but much different than I imagined. Everything was delicious. It was a great cultural experience. If you like experiencing different foods and new things instead of the same texmex, etc, this is for you!

It was completely empty when we arrived which made me wonder why. Streets were busy with people walking by shopping. Price was ridiculous and unimpressed with flavorsI would have enjoyed fast food instead
