This is a great neighborhood bistro. Chef owned. Rustic French- nothing fancy just super solid tasty food. On our visit we shared the escargot and the Kale salad which were both flavorful. Entrees: my son had the duck which he really enjoyed and I had the chicken paillard which was hot, fresh and juicy. Breaded and pan fried, it had a sauce which may have been lemon butter and was covered with fresh arugula. However, the star was the take home burger which I brought to my wife who was working. Medium rare, with melted Brie and caramelized onions. It was hot and luxurious. The crispy pomme frites were wonderful even after driving them home. Best of all, it was $10 burger night Wednesday. That's a steal. I could see becoming a regular on Wednesdays and working my way through their wine list of European sourced wines. Another option: Tuesdays are half priced wines so keep that in mind. Service is friendly relaxed and very attentive. All in all a very enjoyable night!

Where to start? The atmosphere - small, quaint, romantic space inside included candlelight and fine China/cutlery. Bar seating, too. On the patio, the atmosphere is a bit more open and boisterous, but still comfortable. The staff... everyone from the hostess to the chef went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. How? My husband had asked to be seated inside, but it was really cold at our corner table, with the a/c blowing right on us, so we were offered a table on the patio; it was a lovely evening for it.The waiter was attentive, very knowledgeable, and asked the chef questions about allergy concerns. The chef was able to make their risotto dish to accommodate my fish allergy. AMAZING!The food: You must have the Pumpkin Spice Wings - mighty tasty!Every dish we had was delicious. My husband had the cod, which was served on a bed of bokchoy, with baked figs, and I had the shellfish risotto. My hubby chose bread pudding for dessert. I took a couple of bites and claimed it to be the best I've had in a long time. The cocktails:I tried two drinks from their cocktail menu and they were just okay. I didn't finish the "Notorius Nostradamus" drink that I chose for my dessert - something about the Jaggermeister with a smoked salt rim made my tummy ache. Maybe a brown sugar rim would be better? All in all... we will return to try other menu items, but maybe I'll ask them to mix a drink off menu.Reservations are highly recommended.

Really really cool spot! Food was amazing and coffee was good. Only tiny issue was staff was a bit tired and we had to do most of the menu navigation on our own. Beautiful atmosphere tho and good looking drinks. Will be back!

If you're going to claim to be that special, fresh, neighbourhood restaurant, then you should try to deliver that experience instead of average food, presentation, and service. Salmon rillettes was served within 5 minutes of ordering, tasty, but was not accompanied with toast points as per menu, instead I received dry baguette, that was hard as a rock. (Which I carefully ate because I was starving) The Black cod en pappillote was way overcooked and bitter notes from the lemon rind and artichokes was disappointing. Service was inexperienced which would not have been bad had the food been on point. Oddly, I was never asked how my meal was. Kudos to the hostess who was friendly and accommodating. Sorry, just too many missed opportunities tonight. Great patio though.Vegetarian options: At least one appetizer and entree.Parking: Outside parking lot, accessible.

Wonderful dinner! Husband had black cod, I had salmon and both were so good. I read this restaurant is struggling due to increased costs and pandemic impacts. . . .. go here. Support this small restaurant and enjoy some of the best food in Dallas.

We just love this place. Go every time we are in town. The best cocktails, intimate yet lively atmosphere and every meal we've had there has been awesome.

This one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. Every dish I have ever had here has been excellent and we have eaten here many times. The mussels are a favorite of mine and my wife's. The cocktails are great (missing there cocktails at the moment)If you live in the Dallas and have not been here, you need to go!

Had dinner there and here’s to Steven Combest who wrote the steak review… we were sitting right next to you as you rudely treated your server. Granted, a miscommunication on the temperature of the first steak to which your server DID apologize. The second steak, which we ordered the same, rare, looked exactly like ours. Your server again apologized and sent the owner out to chat with you guys. We CLEARLY heard her apologize, said she would comp the steak but would not the second. She even offered to box up your meal to which you responded rudely. And you cocktail drinks? You sure didn’t have a problem drinking them and ordering a bottle of wine. While appreciate comments, I also appreciate owners coming to the table to resolve a problem opposed to inexperienced, rude and entitled customers think they can bully themselves into a free meal and post false accusations to restaurants who are still in survival mode. I don’t speak for the restaurant but people like you restaurants should BEWARE.Our meal was OUTSTANDING, the steaks were cooked perfectly and the cocktails on point. We eat here once a week, just for the steak and service. A great gem in our neighborhood.

We were trying to have a date night at RM12:20 because my wife was sooo excited that the Steak Dianne was back on the menu. When it came time to order my wife eats her steak rare and was told they couldn’t do that…turns out they were telling the truth…they literally could only cook the steak to the brink of well done. When we alerted the waitress there were no apologies. She took it back and after a few minutes we were presented another steak cooked to the same level of doneness after I explicitly asked for rare. I never ate my entree and my wife didn’t eats hers. I immediately asked for my check never asking for anything to be comped…the waitress said she would bring the chef/owner out to which I said, “No, just bring the check”. The owner came out and accused us of trying to get “two free steaks”…I told her we only asked for the check and would rather pay $165 to leave than to eat her food. Bad service, bad attitude, bad drinks….buyers beware

Service was a bit slow, but they may have been short staffed. The burgers are excellent. Steak could use more seasoning.

The atmosphere is very enjoyable. Quiet, super cute decor, & great service. We both ordered a cocktail and shared the yummy pimento cheese toast. The bread tasted homemade. I had the fried chicken sandwich on a croissant. I wish I'd taken a picture of it. The piece of chicken on it was comically small. Maybe half the size of what it would be at a lot of places but it tasted good. Fries were tasty. We got a side of grits to try. I was told they were cheese grits. I tasted zero cheese but they were good and creamy. My friend enjoyed her entrée as well. (Smoked brisket and eggs on top of fries) Overall the food was good....A bit overpriced. I would like to go back at dinner sometime and try more items on the menu.
