Rusty Taco always has great service at the Greenville & University location. They typically remember me & my preferences. The food is always well prepared & the store is always clean.
My husband and I always pass this place and have wondered about it, but just have never had the opportunity to stop. This location is a converted old gas station so it is industrial inside and has some seating, but has additional seating outside. Upon entering, we were greeted by the nicest human. He asked if we had been before and we said no. He started telling us about the food options and gave great recommendations. Get the chips and queso, for sure. Rusty Taco catered our office lunch today. I had the pleasure of trying the shrimp taco. Super yum!!! I don't recall the salsa but can distinguish by color. The red salsa is very good but my fave is the orange sauce. It IS spicy! My tongue was burning from the first bite but it was so good I couldn't stop dousing it on my tacos. Also loved the rice dish. I wish I was a meat eater coz the steak looked tender and juicy. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area to try other...read full review
