Very popular and fun casual dive bar with great food and a large patio out back. Large bar inside and outside. Pool table and stage on the patio with occasional live music.
The drinks were great and extensive menu ...the bartender was very friendly however it took around 10 minutes before she acknowledge us because of the conversation with another employee seemed more important. ( I managed several bars I always time the greeting process YES IT TOOK 10 MINUTES AND 37 SECONDS)
Thank you for making my parents 56th wedding anniversary so special! Your staff was amazing! When this craziness subsides I can not wait to come by!!!
The drinks were reasonably priced and the staff was really helpful. The outdoor patio is a decent size and features a tree in the middle which I liked. They had pool, darts, huge connect 4 and a few other games too. All the patrons were really friendly and laid back. It had more of a whole in the wall vibe but I loved that. The food was also good! I'm watching my calories after being stuck in the house for a couple months and their menu is not huge but I was able to find grilled chicken breast and veggies and the chicken was delicious tossed on BBQ. One person with me got the chicken hit dog or something. He loved it and I tried his fries and loved those too. They were the crisp kind i love and typically i don't do FF. 3rd friend got the chicken tacos.. she enjoyed those but the bite I had seemed like the red onion was a littl overwhelming but it could have just been that bite. The salss that came with it was spicy but she loved it.As with many places I wish I could give a 4.5.. the only reason this place lost a star was there were a lot of people smoking and that was ultimately the reason we left for another place even though I could have chatted and played there for longer.
The bartenders where on point, fast, friendly and knew their way around a bar well. The other patrons were an interesting and polite group. It was fun because it was a great mix of various folks so an interesting and enjoyable diverse crowd. Seat inside was comfortable and relaxed as well. The only downside, which isn't the bars fault, is there were some unfortunate folks who were taking shelter outside close to parking. They caused no issues and didn't engage but it's something of note. I want to be clear that shouldn't be held against the bar itself and I don't cast dispersion upon the campers either.
Horrible service. Employees not wearing masks as they serve customers. Making no effort to enforce social distancing. Did I mention horrible service? Ordered a premium liquor, $10, but received a well drink. And they have been open way before it was legal for bars to open. And, no, it's not a restaurant, full blown bar. They obviously had an issue with color of my partner's skin, as well, which probably is explains the rest. Won't be back.
Amanda is fabulous. Food is delicious portions generous. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
The best staff and atmosphere around. Hidden Gem and we love the menu. Delicious fries, wings, pizza and more.
Classy dive bar with pool table, covered patio and free popcorn. What's not to love?!
This place is truly a hidden gem!! From the outside it does not look like much but once you go inside, WOW! The Ivy is walking distance from my house, which is more than perfect! Great and friendly bartenders! Awesome and diverse music! Yummy food!
Very nice experience! I’ve driven past this spot countless times, and figured it was time we make a visit; was not the least bit disappointed! Drinks were great, as was the selection. Specials were sensible, and drinks not on special we’re actually priced really well— especially given the attention placed in the mixing/shaking of them by the bartender! While we did not sample any of the culinary offerings on this visit, I have no doubt I will be back at a later time to do exactly that!
The vibe here is so great and I'm gonna make it my local hang. Mixed clientele, laid back vibe, games. Only downside is smoking on patio
The place is great, sadly today they had a clearly unhappy bartender. Mean person, should not be on a service position with that attitude. Aimie I think was her name. Kyle has given a great service unlike this person. Other than that I loved the place.
Great patio. Only place where you can play pool on the patio. Cool bartenders.
Pretty cool happy hour, with inexpensive well drinks. The service was okay, more of an order at the bar situation, but I appreciated the bar tending skills. We received very generous pours and they had a decent selection. As for the food, the pizza was awesome, as were the fried pickles. The Cajun wings were hella spicy (even for someone who enjoys spicy food), so I wouldn't recommend if drinking alcohol. The parking situation is a little tricky but overall we had a good time.
