Stopped in hungry and pregnant. The food is DELIGHTFUL. I was craving lox and a good bagel and The Market delivered. I swear this bagel was as big as my face and so fresh. The honeycomb lavender latte was also incredible. I can't wait to return!Food: 5/5

Cozy, clean atmosphere and speedy service. I ordered comfort breakfast food and it was fantastic! Didn't even know it was a kosher cafe until afterward, but that didn't bother me at all. Great cold brew coffee too. Highly recommend!

Without a reservation, our party of 9 (including 4 young-ish children) showed up mid-week and were immediately accommodated for breakfast without delay! Didn't expect that, but very welcome. Service could not have been more pleasant and thorough. The brunch time crowd showed up around 10 a.m. which filled the place up, but again service was spot on. As for the food, one word: Delicious! Not a bargain but priced fairly. Everything is freshly made, very good "bottomless cup" coffee, kids loved the slightly pricey (but gorgeous) hot chocolate, super tasting and filling made-to-order omelets. In all, quite a hit with my crew, a portion of which was visiting from out of town. They tried to convince the owner to open up a place in their home town! Can't wait to return and enjoy breakfast again! Kudos!

The staff and babka are both phenomenal! I can't make it out to Dallas but on Wednesdays, and babka is only sold on Fridays. After some back and forth and very little begging (kidding!), they made me some and didn't bake it until Wednesday. To top it all off the delivered it to my work and gave me a loaf completely free, so i was able to give one loaf to my temple as well (let's face it I can eat THAT much babka, or at least i thought. Plus, I earned a few babka points :D )First bite from the babka brought an unintentional smile across my face. Sure you've had it before, but you haven't had their babka. It hits different! It's a beautiful medley of cinnamon and dough that truly warms the soul. I'm not joking people, you've not had real babka until you've been here!! It's like a potato chip, you can't eat just one!

Food: Food is way overpriced. $17 for a bagel sandwich (no sides included). Flavor of the sandwich (smoked salmon) was lacking. I had to add copious amounts of salt to even taste anything. Poor quality and quantity makes this not worth coming back for. Service: Service was average. I waited over 10 minutes until someone even made eye contact and thought to come to my table. Ambiance: Decor and setup is cute. This is a small place in the middle of a run down plaza.

Great place for brunch. Had to wait 15 minutes for a table but food was worth it

Food is good, the price is on the higher side, half sandwich or salad with a cup of soup for $16. Cortado was great and reasonably priced ($4). Earl Grey ($3) was not my cup of tea, it smelled and tasted somewhat low quality. Service was subpar, we (and couple other parties) waited almost 10 minutes before getting seated because the table didn't get cleaned in time. The servers were nice but difficult to get their attention. Other parties arrived and ordered after us got their food served before ours did. The place wasn't very clean, the table felt sticky, there were food crumbles on the chairs and floor. I do feel the main reason for all of that was due to the place been understaffed, there were only 2 servers and one of them seems new on the job. At this point it is difficult for to me to recommend The Market Local Comfort Cafe to others. Hopefully they can raise the service level at my next visit :)

Everything here is homemade, and amazingly flavorful. From an array of pastries baked fresh every morning, to interesting, creative daily specials the food is out of this world. The ambience is beautiful and stylish to boot!
IF YOU COME HERE THEY SERVE CRACK IN THE DRINKS, just drank the strawberry lemonade. Ive tried em all over the globe, but this one IS IT. Come buy one.

I stopped in for a late breakfast/coffee with a business associate. We conducted a meeting as well as substantial discussions and were very comfortable and treated very well. The breakfast croissant with eggs and home fries was outstanding. This is Dallas Kosher as it was meant to be. Huge props to the owners who have managed to keep this business operating through Covid and even with the ongoing staffing challenges and Covid resurgence challenges. You are all an inspiration. This is very tough work and often very thankless work and yet you get up and bake and cook and clean and everything else needed to run a Kosher establishment properly. Well done and thank you.

Passed by several times and finally stopped by to check it out with my daughter. We arrived during open hours 9-2:30 (2:10 p) and stood at the wait to be seated sign. We watched a family celebrate a birthday and a full staff scurry about attending to patrons without being greeted and it's an extremely small restaurant. Eventually we were acknowledged and expected to be seated. Greeter checked his phone and explained their kitchen closes 30 min before their posted hours and wished the times could be reflect this and smiled "sorry". If you go, plan accordingly. I don't plan to return.

I really wanted to love this restaurant. The inside decor is so cute and the pastries are eye catching! We first tried to go a few weeks ago and when we walked in were asked if we had reservations (we didn't) and the woman walked to the back and never returned. After standing around waiting 10 minutes to see if they'd be able to seat us (or not) we left.We couldn't find a way to make reservations on their website, so we finally were able to find time to call during their limited hours, but this time when we showed up, they never even asked if we had a reservation! The bagels were excellent, coffee was good, although we had to ask repeatedly for a refill, and unfortunately, there was a hair in our cookie.I'd definitely go back for the bagels and muffins, but will try to go when it's less busy or just get our order to go.

I just love this place!! The food is so high quality and delicious. Hands down the best kosher restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant is well cared for and adorably decorated. Seems like my experience is not limited to me, it’s always packed when I come! 10/10 recommend!!
