On my first visit, I mistakenly drove the wrong way down a one-way street. It felt like Denton handed crayons to kindergarteners to sketch the road layout. But I digress. To help you find the bakery I’ve attached a photo of the building.
They offer a delightful variety of baked goods, including loaves of bread, cookies, muffins, pies, and other treats. Today, I spotted a special Valentine’s Day menu. Perfect for gifts. While there’s some seating available the bakery mainly caters to those looking to grab something delicious and enjoy it elsewhere.
The Cinnamon Roll Danish is absolutely delicious. Its exterior is a flaky croissant texture, while the center is filled with a delicious cream cheese flavor. I regret not buying more to share at work. Perhaps next time.
I discovered this bakery while planning a business meeting. This morning I picked up a wide assortment and EVERYTHING was amazing. The cookies had the perfect chewy crunch combo, all the flavors were so delicious. I can’t say enough good things about the quality of baked goods from this delightful bakery. My customers were very happy!!
Ravelin is my go-to bakery even after moving an hour away! Definitely one of Denton's hidden gems. It's great to stop off in the morning to pick up a breakfast treat, and you can mix & match individual cookies, etc and buy as much or as little as you want. Everyone who works there is very kind and friendly. The main draws for me are their key lime pie and the fact that they're one of very few places that sell their sourdough starter!
Highly recommended. In general it has everything you'd want in a bakery, but for me the big sell is they use unfortified i.e. normal flour. Basically all baked goods at the grocery store are loaded with supplements that I, personally, don't want in my food.

I’ve been coming to ravelin for as long as I lived in denton but after my experience today I was very inclined to shout from the mountains how wonderful they are. It was on my schedule to come in today but I foolishly lost track of time and when I realized I needed to make my way over they were just about to close. I gave them a call and asked if they could stay open a few minutes longer as I was right around the corner. The girl on the phone was incredibly kind and said it wasn’t a problem at all and even offered to put my order together over the phone. When I came in (embarrassingly) one minute before close they were nothing but kind and helpful. The pastries were incredible and fresh regardless of the fact that it was close to the end of the day. I will always come back here and highly recommend that everyone else does as well.
Always stop by here after work to buy sweets for my family. Not only are they so affordable (this time, I bought a myriad of different things like creme brulee, chocolate cake slice, buttermilk pie etc.) all for about 30 bucks! I have a family of 7 people and everyone was able to enjoy and try some. Not only that, the staff are always super friendly and sweet! I can only say good things about this place. Once you go, you just want to come back!
I had a bad experience ordering a Pumpkin Pie and it wasn't well cooked it was watery I had to put it in the oven it wasn't well cooked. I hope it doesn't happen again.
