Leaving a 1 because on 2/10 my friends and I went to have brunch there. Food and service was amazing but today I received a parking ticket, although I used and paid for their valet. Now we are unable to reach them. Absolutely ridiculous and never going back. It was one of my favorite spots, too.

The worst chilaquiles, dry, the egg was overcooked, the sauce was pure tomatillo with water, the burger was very delicious but from then on we were 6 people who ordered chilaquiles and we all agreed that we do not recommend itThe service took a long timeI don't recommend the place at all

Our recent dining experience was nothing short of remarkable, captivating with its elegant ambiance and leaving an indelible mark with exceptional cuisine and attentive service. One of the highlights of our meal was the "Puntas de Filete.” This dish was a symphony of flavors, featuring succulent pieces of steak, beautifully complemented by a roasted long green chile and a tantalizing jalapeño au jus. The whipped potatoes were silky smooth, and the house vegetables were cooked to perfection, adding a refreshing balance to the rich and robust flavors of the meat.Additionally, we indulged in the Grilled & Fried Calamari, a delightful appetizer priced at $19. This dish stood out for its exquisite preparation, offering the perfect blend of textures. The calamari was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, making each bite a memorable experience. The chef's attention to detail was evident, ensuring that every element on the plate was executed flawlessly. The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our dining experience. They were quick to offer recommendations and ensured that our culinary journey was seamless from start to finish. This dining venue is a gem in its locale. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it offers a dining experience that combines fine cuisine, elegant ambiance, and exceptional service.

After visiting a fellow graduate student of Doc Larry Valero, we lunched exquisitely at Cafe Central. My Chilean Bass taquitos were BEYOND DELICIOUS and grilled to perfection. My mouth waters thinking of them. The ambiance of Cafe Central is so swank and elegant. Service is outstanding. The background music allows welcomed conversation with a good friend. WALKING distance, 30 seconds from Paso Del Norte Hotel. Cafe Central has many dishes that I have to try.Parking: I parked in Paso Del Norte garage. It's 16.24 all day. I do not rush when I am dining with friends.

We arrived hungry anticipating a 5-star meal based on reviews here. We declined alcoholic beverages and the attitude of the waitstaff changed from that point forward. I had to request the bread course 4 times before it was served. Our appetizer took 45 minutes to arrive. I requested that the entree be served simultaneously with the appetizer because again, we were hungry, but that was ignored. Both fish entrees arrived after a full hour and were too salty to eat- I scraped as much salt as I could and ate mine anyway after the long wait. My companion requested hers to be re made. After another 10 minutes the re made salmon arrived and it was seared on the outside and cool/raw in the center. This was not the requested preparation and was inedible- it was how you would cook a tuna steak, not a piece of salmon. It felt passive aggressive or at least very careless. The manager mumbled some apologies but the waitress was completely indifferent. This service and food quality would not be acceptable at a Chili’s let alone this price point. I would not recommend or return.

Unfortunately my family went to celebrate my birthday as a large party with 2 babies under 1 year old. Our reservation was at 6pm we didn’t receive our entry until 9pm we finally left at 10:15pm. It is disappointing, paying almost $600, to be stuck in a nice restaurant with 2 infants for 4 hours was miserable. We will be looking for a better place to celebrate future celebrations.

A bit pricey but worth every penny. Great place to take that special person in your life. I got the prime steak and my wife got the prawn shrimp brotu something and both were delicious. The atmosphere was quiet and the piano made it even more special. I highly recommend this place.

I have been coming to Cafe Central since 1995. It continues to be the best high end restaurant in El Paso. Outstanding service, great ambiance, superb food great drinks. I have been all over the world and Cafe Central is out there with the best restaurants. No doubt I will keep coming back.

I just wanted a cup of soup to go and it wasn’t allowed because of Valentine’s Day, I can get big complicated orders to not be allowed to go (although it’s weird you wouldn’t want to just have business) but I don’t think customer service here is acceptable.I’m slowly getting to know the lunch places downtown since it’s a new job but first impressions I can gather that this isn’t the place to eat lunch at

What a great start, before the Symphony! The Lamb Rack was superb, as well as the Lobster Agnolotti and the unique take on the Caeser Salad! The Pinot Noir was wonderful, as well!
