Found this gem yesterday while looking for a break from all the Mexican food in El Paso. I'm glad we found it. I had the combo plate with a schnitzel and brat with potato salad, and a roll. The rolls her must be baked in heaven. They are flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. Everything was delicious. Be sure not to pass up desert. We tried the pecan triangles and they were amazing. Prost! To Peter's. ❤️

This is a cute hidden gem in El Paso. I enjoy stopping by for a pastry and to look at the imports they carry. It’s a charming place decorated in German style, and the owner is a pleasant conversationalist. I think it’s worth a visit!

A hidden gem for German food, Saturday evening I venture myself for some delicious German food and Peter's German Grill did not disappoint, people say great thing come in small packages and this place blew my tastebuds away. Everything tasted so fresh like many restaurants in Fredericksburg, TX. Drinks are basic but go well with your food, a perfect balance for your meal. Make you leave space for some desert and grab yourself some German Chocolate cake, as it is must have if you come here. Awesome place overall.

True German owned and operated. Food comes out quick and is good. Large selection of German beers that looks special ordered. There is a wall of German/European items for cooking and other everyday items from cough drops to coffees. Definitely recommend this place. Easy to find and

Pete's has hands down the best German food in town. The cakes, rolls, and pretzels are delicious. Not to mention, the food always served hot and fresh. It's the only place to get a cold German beer to go with the fantastic food.

Excellent little hidden gem of a restaurant! Everything looks and tastes authentic. Plus the store was stocked with all sorts of yummy goodies. I'm very excited to be a repeat customer!

Schnitzel was average. Bratwurst was possibly the best I've ever had. Apple strudel was very disappointing

I'm glad I saw the sign on the highway, it's a great find with wonderful bread, German chocolate cake, bratwurst, schnitzel and plenty of wonderful german beers. I wish there were more side options available but its more than worth the stop, plus the prices are very reasonable and Peter is a very nice gentleman!

Very good place to go, the food was delicious and the owner is great to talk to. My father brought his accordion and played german music for a bit. There is also a refrigerated selection of cheese and Mets, including Apple Strudel and Goose liver. I bought the Blood Sausage, which tastes the same as Blood and Tongue Sausage that I would get up north. If you are not squeamish about the name, I recommend that you give it a try.
