Food was delicious and staff was friendly and helpful. Tyler was our server, he was excellent, very helpful and very attentive. The beef ribs were huge, bigger than the plate!! The sausage, brisket and baby back ribs were so good! The coleslaw, beans, potato salad and homestyle bread were delicious too.
Great BBQ, one of the very best in the state. This place was reviewed among the top 10 places to have a legendary BBQ in the state a few years ago; its still making good reviews. The atmostphere is too enclosed and old. With several rusty pieces.

It's very sad when you go to a steak restaurant and Javier the manager gets upset at his guests when his cooks send out a cold and undercooked steakWas very unpleasant and very unprofessional to see him snack up side bowls and dropping them very OBVIOUSLY upset at ME for not wanting him to RE COOK my entrae??WOW !!First time at STATE LINE and probably the LASTThanks to the very noticeably upset and aggressive JAVIERManager is giving your establishment a BLACK EYEAYLA the server was great she was friendly acomadatting and deserves props!!I would not recommend this establishment!!Good luck!

Our waitress was amazing, but otherwise we were super disappointed!! We used to love their steaks but now they only have one and they apparently don't know how to cook it. Our steak was very over cooked. If we go back, it'll be BBQ for us!

For the last 14 years I have been listening to my boyfriend gush about this place. So, when traveling from North Carolina to El Paso for the first time together, the first place we went was The State Line. We arrived just as they were opening, and we had our dog with us and it was starting to get warm, so leaving her in the car would have been an issue. They let us sit on the gorgeous patio. This patio makes me want to come back when they are playing music and have a meal and some beers. It looks like a fun place. Our waitress, Maria, was over the top nice and attentive. The service was phenomenal, and the food was even better.
