I’m from out of state and went here on a whim and looking at reviews. It was excellent. I had the crab puff and it’s the best I’ve ever had. The chef’s special roll was good and very filling. Before dinner you get a little soup and spicy cucumber slices. Both were a nice addition. The service was wonderful. Maybe because the tables were half capacity, but Yoseline kept an eye on me and was there as soon as I was ready to progress along the meal. I’m glad I stopped in.

Good morning princesses and princes ?Well, this weekend I visited Sunny's Sushi on the east side and we're going to say that I will definitely return.The service is SUPER ?? The truth. I have never seen handlers who are so excited and “hands on”, I was pleased to see that all the employees greet you as soon as you enter and they all shout goodbye when you finish ??? something totally different and I think that's what it's about.The service at ?The food the food the food?????????????No ps everything everything everything I loved it!!! The ONLY thing that I personally would change is that I make the sushi rolls smaller ??♂️?? not all of us have the size of a cow ?? not clear ?. I just couldn't fit the sushi in my mouth lol? and I struggled a bit. Your sushi edits are too big ?But noooooooo stains. How rrriiicooooooo ???????? I love it I love it all ?The chicken with vegetables and rice was also delicious.The place itself is at ?The net is recommended ? ?? ?
Amazing place for a family dinner or date. We came today to celebrate my mother’s birthday and the sushi was super delicious. We got the Sunny special Roll and a Philadelphia roll. The service was excellent! JOSE was our server and he was very courteous attentive.

I love this place because it has a great atmosphere for every occasion, the food is very good. My favorite sushi plate is chefs special. For dessert, the fried ice cream sounds better but mochi ice cream is wayy better.

So we came to this Sunnys hoping to see Anna. We didnt see her but managers and servers are much better than Montana. Made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this location.

I was excited when I came, the appetizer was good, I got the deep fried softshell crab. For my main, I got the sushi set, 8 sashimi and 8 nigiri. That where the problems occured. Another person at the table got a roll. When the sushi was brought out, it was all on one plate. I expected to get my sushi that I ordered on one plate and the other person to get their sushi roll on there own plate. Because of this there was cross contamination with our sushi. I did not eat two of my nigiri because the sauce from roll was on those pieces. For the actual quality of the nigiri, the rice was very dense, making me think the rice was overly seasoned, or rice pieces were pre-formed and extra moister was added to keep the shape, making the rice extra dense. When it came to the sashimi part, all was good except the octopus. It seemed like the octopus was pre-cut and frozen, octopus shouldn't have a watery flimsy texture, octopus is supposed to be firm and a little chewy, when you freeze octopus, the moisture crystalizes and when it thaws, it completely changed the texture of the octopus. I think the server can see in my face that I was disappointed with the way the sushi presented. I didn't want to make a fuss, but this review makes it easier to explain everything. I know people may think a little bit of sauce won't ruin the sushi, but it ruined it for me, so I didn't eat the pieces that mixed with the sauce from the roll. I spent the most at my table and still got the worst experience. It wasn't bad, I just stopped smiling when I saw the cross contamination, showing me that the sushi chefs didn't care if it was two separate orders, they just saw it was on the same table and wanted to save on plates.

We arrived with a party of 12 on a Sunday, mid-afternoon and were not expecting the restaurant to be very busy. It was, and we were on the fence about going to another place due to the wait when Rudy, the GM stepped in and ensured we were sat promptly by reorganizing some tables. Our server, Destiny, was amazing. Most folks know that sometimes when you’re out with a large party, things can get out of hand—food comes out at different times, orders forgotten, etc. Absolutely none of that happened during our visit. Perfect service and a great customer experience from beginning to end. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and dining experience.

i’m allergic to shrimpand i’ve been here before, we asked the lady last time to please separately make my crab roll away from the shrimp rolls, and she said yes. however this time, our server told me that it’s nothing promised and that she cannot do anything about it. i love the food and place but i don’t think that was fair.
