Met a friend for lunch here and was pleased with the comida corrida options. I ordered caldo de res (the meat was tender and there were plenty of veggies), red enchiladas (made perfectly and with good amount of onion, which they asked about when I placed my order), and dessert was chocolate cake (a little dry but good nonetheless). Service was fast yet friendly. The place is definitely no frills, but the food was good and made for a pleasant and quick lunch during the work week!
I live nearby and love enchiladas, so Tajin was the perfect option at least in paper. The first time I was there I was impressed of the real mexican vibe offered at this place the servers and cookers were super polite , however it was the food that amazed me the most, they have different enchilada salsas, and they are so tasty! We had 2 Comidas Corridas plates. Both included bean and rice. I asked mine with Bistec Ranchero. Surprisingly it was delicious, it has that Mexican farm touch. The bean were good. The rice was very very good, it tasted was recently made.My dad had enchiladas suizas, he said it was very good too.The waiter felt kind improvised. He was very friendly and kind.
