The catfish was cooked kind of light. It feel apart as soon as you picked it up. She should have cooked it another 2 minutes. The seasoning was good, kind of pricey for the small sizes you receive. The fillets are strips, and it is not equal to the price. Even though this location is in the hood, the cooking is not. They need some Black cooks who know how to cook fish. Right now it is a hispanic place in the hood.

I went there yesterday 6/1/23, After reading some reviews I was nervous. I ordered a 4pc catfish fillet. This is what I got, I was highly upset. I bought this for me and my two kids, these are not fillets , maybe they took two fillets and cut them into strips.For the price and the amount of time I was disappointed. If your serving strips don’t call fillets very misleading. Flavor was good tho but will not return if this is there fillet. My food was hot and fries was fresh and seasoned
Fish was delicious, seasoned well and cooked to perfection, buttttttt...I wasn't expecting such small catfish filets. They actually looked like 1 whole filet that may have been cut in half. Also,the fries were freshly cooked and hot. I wish they had asked, though if I wanted seasoning on them. I prefer salt and pepper only. Overall, I'd go back.

At first glance this restaurant has no curb appeal inside and/or out, you might question eating here at first. However, I must say I was pleasantly pleased with the food and the service. You have to order through a wall with a tiny window, but hey I get it. This restaurant is not in one of the best areas of Fort Worth so be mindful. As for the food itself, it was cooked to order and it was fresh and well seasoned. I ordered the catfish and I got an order of shrimp and both came with fries, toast, pickles/peppers. The catfish is real catfish, not Swai as some of these restaurants are using instead of. It was full of meat and flaky:. Breaded good with seasoning throughout. The shrimp was also good, but I could slightly taste some fishy/ocean water flavor. It wasn't overpowering flavor or anything like that so I was happy with it. I'll definitely go back to this place and try other items, I want to try the pork chop but they didn't have any so maybe next time. I do think they would benefit from making their own tarter sauce, instead of off brand tarter sauce packets. Other than that. I do recommend this place for a good piece of fish!

Sometimes, people expect the most, lolI specifically like this place because it's tucked away. I'm not a big seafood person, but I do enjoy catfish.. I just moved to the area and will be frequenting Ronnie's, lol??♂️ I get the 2 piece fillet.. I always get full! My food has been perfect each time! That pepper and those pickles are yummy!Of course, reviews are based on personal opinion, but I say swing on by.. Im bout to go now lol

Definitely my new go to for real catfish they are not expensive considering todays economy and the staff where very professional and helpful if you're looking for REAL catfish I would definitely give them a try only thing that would probably throw you off I guess is it's not whole filets but other than that it was perfect
